摘要： An alloy for use in exhaust valves is disclosed, which consists by weight percentage of 0.01 DIFFERENCE 0.15% of C, not more than 2.0% of Si, not more than 2.5% of Mn, 53 DIFFERENCE 65% of Ni, 15 DIFFERENCE 25% of Cr, 0.3 DIFFERENCE 3.0% of Nb, 2.0 DIFFERENCE 3.5% of Ti, 0.2 DIFFERENCE 1.5% of Al, 0.0010 DIFFERENCE 0.020% of B, and the remainder being substantially Fe. If necessary, the alloy further contains at least one element selected from 0.001 DIFFERENCE 0.030% of Mg, 0.001 DIFFERENCE 0.030% of Ca and 0.001 DIFFERENCE 0.050% of REM.

摘要： Machinable ferrite stainless steels having an excellent corrosion resistance, consisting of not more than 0.030% of C, not more than 0.050% of N, not more than 0.012% of O, not more than 0.8% of Si, not more than 1.6% of Mn, 0.05-0.40% of S, 16-22% of Cr, and 1-3% of Mo, or at least one of 0.03-0.25% of Pb, 0.03-0.20% of Se and 0.01-0.15% of Te, the remainder being Fe, provided that the sum of C and N is not more than 0.060% and Mn/S is 2-5, characterized by that Cr content based on 100 parts by weight of sulfide inclusions formed in the said steels is 10-50 parts by weight.

摘要： An apparatus for reactor ironmaking has a furnace body (1A) to melt raw material, typically as scrap, a shaft (3) to heat the raw material, and a raw material supply bucket, (4) these three components being arranged vertically, with an exhaust gas combustion tower (5) positioned close to the shaft. … Raw material is supplied to the shaft with this apparatus by the bucket, (4) and, after being heated by exhaust gas from the furnace body (1A), the raw material is charged into the furnace body (1A) by the opening/closing operation of a shaft damper (22) and a furnace body cover (21). Exhaust gas is introduced from the furnace body (1A) into the heating shaft (3), air is supplied in stages, the temperature of the gas is gradually raised through combustion of CO, and the gas is used to heat the raw material in the shaft.

摘要： Mechanical anisotropy of a free cutting steel having excellent machinability can be effectively decreased by controlling inclusions so that the steel may contain inclusion A which softens at a temperature below 1000 DEG C. and inclusion B which has a melting point above 1300 DEG C. but exhibits plasticity at a temperature between 900 DEG and 1300 DEG C., that the inclusion A and the inclusion B may exist in a mutually adhered form, and that the areal percentage of the inclusion A may be at least 1% of areal percentage of the inclusion B. Typical compositions of the inclusion A are: Pb, Bi, MnS-MnTe, SiO2-K2O, SiO2-Na2O, SiO2-K2O-Al2O3, SiO2-Na2O-Al2O3 and SiO2-Na2O-CaO-MnO; and typical compositions of the inclusion B are: MnS, MnSe and Mn(S,Se).

摘要： A steal refining method of the type in which the steel is refined through an interfacial reaction between the molten steel in a vessel and a slag on the molten steel. The method simultaneously employs both blowing of an inert gas into the molten steel from the bottom of the vessel to stir the molten steel by bubbling and blowing an inert gas from the upper side of the vessel into the zone in which the movement of the slag is dull. Consequently, the stirring effect on the molten steel is enhanced to promote the refining reaction. The inert gas can contain a desulfurization agent.

摘要： Precision casting of titanium or titanium alloy includes establishing molten metal by induction heating in an assembly formed with water cooled copper segments disposed circlewise on the inside of an induction coil in a state insulated from each other and casting the molten metal into a permeable mold by vacuum casting. The precision casting method uses apparatus including an induction coil, an assembly formed with the aforementioned copper segments, an arrangement for feeding a base metal from the under side thereof and a permeable mold into which the molten base metal in the assembly is transferred by vacuum casting. It is possible to obtain precision castings of metal having high melting points and high actvitiy such as titanium, titanium alloy or the like.
