摘要： An anti-theft device (30, 67) is provided for the prevention of the theft of fuel from a motor vehicle or other motor driven apparatus. The anti-theft device (30, 67) has a tubular member (31, 68) and a liquid permeable gauze barrier (34, 71). One end (33, 70) of the tubular member (31, 68) has an outer part (35, 72) adapted to receive a filler cap (16, 63) and an inner part (40, 74) adapted to engage a filler pipe (11, 60) with the tubular member (31, 68) extending along the pipe (11, 60). The tubular member (31, 68) also has engagement means (42, 76) operable on insertion of the device (30, 67) into a filler pipe (11, 60) to engage the filler pipe (11, 60) and resist disengagement therefrom. When the device (30, 67) is fitted to the filler pipe (11, 60), the tubular member (31, 68) extends along the pipe (11, 60) and is such a length that the barrier (34, 71) is far enough into the pipe (111, 60) to allow the insertion of the nozzle of a fuel dispensing pump but prevent the insertion of a siphon tube.

摘要： A bodyweight unloading locomotive device (10) includes a frame (11) mounted on wheels (12) for locomotive movement. The frame (11) has opposed left and right sides (20, 21) and a harness (91) for supporting a user (90) between the left and right sides (20, 21). An unloading assembly (13, 14) is carried on each of the left and right sides (20, 21), wherein the unloading assemblies (13, 14) each includes a sprung arm (50) having a fixed end (53) fixed to the respective left and right side (20, 21), and an opposed free end (54). The assemblies (13, 14) further each include a cam assembly (51) mounted on the free end (54) of the sprung arm (50) and a tether (52) routed through the cam assembly (51) and extending to the harness (91). Each of the unloading assemblies (13, 14) exerts an independent unloading force on the harness (91) with respect to the frame (11).

摘要： An opening and reclosing device 10 for a container such as a sack, bag, pouch, carton or box, comprises: means 18 for affixing the device to a container; an integral cutter (30, fig. 4) for creating an opening; and a zip-locking mechanism for re-closing the opening. The cutter is preferably housed within a slider 26 coupled to a pull tab 28 and movable between a first stop 14 and second stop 16 to open and close the re-closing mechanism, and may be movable between a first deployed position and a second stowed position. The cutter may further comprise first and second legs (48, 42), at right angles to each other, and first and second apertures (40, 26) for attaching the cutter to first and second pegs provided by the slider and the pull tab respectively, by virtue of which the cutter is pivotally and downwardly movable for being deployed to cut open the container. Preferably a stop (38) is provided opposite, or as an extension of, the second leg, to limit the extent of movement of the cutter. Also disclosed is a method of opening and reclosing a container using the above device.

The brushes G , G , G , G are interconnected as shown in Fig. 2. When the brushes G', G' engage the metal segments on the disks D', D , current flows through the coil P in one direction, which is reversed when the brushes G , G4 engage their respective contacts an instant later. The spindle N is lubricated by watercooled oil pumped at high pressure through the bearings. In a modification, the disks are fixed, and the bushes rotate.
