    • An automatic intravenous flow regulator for regulating the infusion rate of a parenteral solution flowing from an intravenous fluid container to a patient. When the level of parenteral solution in the container is above a threshold level, the infusion takes place at a first flow rate. When the level of fluid in the container drops below the threshold level, fluid flow continues but at a second flow rate less than the first flow rate. The flow rate is controlled principally from outside the IV container; while in a second embodiment, the flow rate is controlled from within the IV container. Other embodiments are disclosed including one in which the initial flow rate may be adjusted; one in which the fluid is filtered prior to delivery to the patient; one in which the initial flow rate is maintained at a constant value with time, secondary flow rate remains fixed, and complete filtration of the intravenous solution being infused is provided.

    • A seat belt pad with a padded area for abdominal support. There are two basic embodiments one for two-point seat belts and the other for three-point seat belts. The two-point belt has an oval shaped pad that has seat belt fittings on both sides of the pad. The vehicle's seat belts can then be clipped to the fittings on the pad. In this way, the pad, which is considerably larger than an ordinary seat belt, protects the user's abdomen. The pad is designed to have equal or greater strength than ordinary seat belts. The three point-pad has two outer bands that fit over an ordinary three-point seat belt. The bands have VELCRO attaches to close the bands around the seat belts. A layer of mesh extends between the belts and is used to support the user's abdomen.

    • A single seed planter has a compartment carrier, drum or belt, continuously running in a casing which has an opening from which to dispense seed. The compartments are filled in the upper portion of the planter with one seed per compartment. A feed worm is disposed adjacent the opening of the casing and receives the seeds as dropping from the opening. Feed worm and compartment carrier are driven in synchronism, and the worm moves the seed down for planting them into the ground at regular spacing and along a rather straight line. The feed worm is contained in a tube but projects therefrom at the lower end.

    • Apparatus for separating and/or counting individual ones of a plurality of substantially similarly shaped particles, elements, grains, or the like, such as grains of seed, pills, etc., and including a hollow rotating drum, constructed to have plural, inwardly tapering indentations, terminating in a bore open to the interior of the drum and having at the bottom of the indentation dimensions smaller than the particles so that the particles cannot traverse the bore, the indentations being wider than the particles at the surface of the drum, the indentation dimensioned to hold at least one particle each. A nozzle directs an air jet towards the drum at direction and position so that the air strikes along the leading wall portion of the closest indentation as the drum rotates. Particles are fed towards the drum, so that at least one particle is in each indentation as it passes the jet.
