摘要： A reinforcement system (10) for a sectional overhead door (100) includes a vertical post (20) having a lower end. and an anchor for removably connecting the lower end of the vertical post to a floor (200). The anchor includes an L-bracket (22) configured to be removably attached to the lower end of the vertical post, and a horizontal leg. An eyebolt (50) removably attaches the horizontal leg of the L-bracket to the floor, and is movably attached to the vertical post. A plurality of door brackets (30) configured for attachment to the door panels (102,104,106) each include a selectively positionable clevis pin (80) removably extending through portions of the door bracket. A method of producing metal sectional overhead garage doors that simulate the appearance of carriage house doors is also disclosed. The method includes embossing relief patterns in sheet metal door sections using a maximum of three different dies to produce substantial portions of a wide variety of metal sectional overhead garage doors that simulate the appearance of carriage house doors.
