摘要： A tamper-evident container system having a lid fitting over a container and a pull-tab attached to the lid along frangible lines. The pull-tab angles inwardly and upwardly from a peripheral rim of the lid and terminates below the topmost portion of the lid. The pull-tab joins to the adjacent walls of the lid rim along thin integrally formed webs which are easily severed upon displacement of the pull-tab to provide highly visible evidence of tampering. The webs extend from an inner section of the rim and across at least a portion of an upper bridge formed on the rim, further enhancing the visibility of any tampering. The pull-tab forms a small angle with a vertical inner wall of a recess of the lid and extends circumferentially around the inner wall without extending above the rim. A sealing ring formed on the lid below the pull-tab enables the container system to be resealed by the consumer after opening. A poppet-style injection molding assembly is used to form the lid which creates a space between the mold parts forming the angled pull-tab prior to release of the lid from an undercutting mold structure.

摘要： A pair of pleats are formed from the same panel on one side of a cylindrical polyethylene bag in which a film of heat sensitive adhesive layer is on the bag layer to form the necessary heat seals. The bag has a lengthwise seam that is formed as an edge of one of the pleats. The other pleat is folded over material from the one panel. The bag is opened by pulling one of the pleats and an edge of the bag with the other pleat between the two pulling points. The pulling forces separate the layers of the one pleat permitting easy access to the bag which is sealed at both ends. The pleats are preferably sealed along the bag length end to end and share a common junction with the one panel from which they are formed.

摘要： A dispenser comprises a small open-top cup adapted for containing a constituent part of a substance and provided with a substantially flat upper edge or flange. The cup is closed by a two-part lid within which another constituent part of the substance in the form of a wafer is received. The top layer of the lid is first removed to access the wafer and the lower part of the lid is later removed so that the substance within the cup can be accessed. The upper and lower layers of the lid comprise films of paper-foil or paper-plastic material such that a pull-tab or lift-tab on the upper layer is first grasped to peel back the upper layer and reveal the wafer, after which a tab portion of the cup is separated and pulled upwardly, carrying with it the attached lower layer whereby the substance in the cup can be accessed. The upper and lower layers are heat-sealed to one another and to the edge of the cup in a manner so that they can be conveniently and successively peeled away from the cup.

A bond secures the foil to the vessel along and immediately outside the tear line.

摘要： An easily-opened container includes a container body (11) with an opening portion and a lid (20) cooperating with the opening portion. The lid has a central lid portion (29) and a peripheral portion located outside this lid portion and sealingly and permanently fixed to the opening portion for closing the container. The central lid portion and the peripheral portion are separated from one another by a weakened portion (22) which extends in the circumferential direction of the opening portion and at least partially around the opening portion. In a restricted region, the opening portion is provided with a recess (17) located beneath the weakened portion. A stripping unit (50) with fulcrum-effect is pivotably supported in a support region (100). The stripping device has a pull member (51) and a pressure member (54), the latter abutting against the outer surface of the lid inside the weakened portion and above the recess in order, on lifting of the pull member, to realize, by pressure against the above-mentioned region, material rupture in the weakened portion and thereby initiate opening of the container.
