摘要： Various multicolor writing tools and methods for applying multiple volatile marking substances one at a time. The tool includes a case member, a cartridge member, a cap member, and an optional actuator member. The case member forms an interior in which is disposed the cartridge member with multiple cartridges each containing one of the marking substances and a tip through which the marking substance is applied. The cap member changes and restores its configuration, while the actuator member changes the configuration and exposes one of the tips selected by an user out of the interior when the tool is in use, and then restores the configuration and encloses all of the tips inside the interior when not in use. Thus, the tool opens the cap member in response to input force without requiring the user to engage in a separate maneuver to remove the cap member.

摘要： A current collector for an electrochemical cell. The current collector comprises a polymer support film having a surface. The current collector also comprises a conductive metallic layer on at least a portion of the surface of the polymer support film, the conductive metallic layer having a first thickness. The current collector further comprises a protective metallic layer on the conductive metallic layer. The protective metallic layer has a second thickness less than the first thickness and is adapted to protect the conductive metallic layer against corrosion. Also provided are a method of manufacturing such a current collector and an electrochemical generator comprising such a current collector.

摘要： A writing instrument comprises nonretractable nib 14 made of porous material and being in fluid communication with an ink reservoir of fluorescent transparent ink, the nib colloquially known as a "highlighter". A second nib 16 is retractable and is substantially rigid and is in fluid communication with a second ink reservoir of nontransparent ink, the second nib colloquially known as a "ball point pen". The retractable and nonretractable nibs extend from an angular face of an elongated body in which they are contained. The angular face permits the nonretractable and retractable nibs, which are in parallel relation, to extend in spaced relations so that the retractable nibs extends beyond the nonretractable nib whereby the nonretractable nib does not contact the writing surface when the retractable nib is used as writing instrument. The extension and retraction of the retractable nib is accomplished with a slidable locking mechanism which allows a user to extend a retractable nib with a single finger motion without altering the writing angle or rotating the instrument in his hand, as in the prior art.
