摘要： According to an aspect, there is provided an apparatus for performing the following. The apparatus obtains predicted Doppler spectrum information for a propagation channel between a first terminal device and one of an access node or a second terminal device calculated using a radio-aware digital twin. The predicted Doppler spectrum information includes information on one or more Doppler frequencies of a predicted Doppler spectrum resulting from reflections from one or more terminal devices capable of movement under control of the digital twin. The apparatus causes performing of measurements of one or more reference signals by a device associated with the propagation channel to a form a channel estimate. The apparatus calculates a measured Doppler spectrum based on the channel estimate and filters out the one or more Doppler frequencies from it. The apparatus adjusts a beam refinement interval of the device based on the filtered measured Doppler spectrum.

摘要： An apparatus can include transceiver circuitry to receive an input signal from a target apparatus. The apparatus can further include a processing circuitry to determine position information of a source object and a target object. Based on the position information, the processing circuitry can calculate a relative velocity and determine a Doppler shift or carrier frequency offset in the input signal based on the relative velocity. The processing circuitry can adjust a local oscillator frequency based on a Doppler measured using the position information in an initial link acquisition phase. The processing circuitry can track the Doppler continuously over a range of tens of gigahertz accounting for Doppler phase ambiguities, and correct for a tracked Doppler shift by partially adjusting a local oscillator frequency and by correcting a residual Doppler shift digitally.

In one aspect, a satellite identifies a satellite behavior change to occur for the satellite of a non-terrestrial network for cellular communications. The apparatus also signals the satellite behavior change to a user equipment serviced by the satellite. In another aspect, a user equipment obtains, from a satellite servicing the user equipment, a signaling of a satellite behavior change to occur for the satellite. The user equipment also adjusts one or more user equipment parameters for cellular communication based on the obtained signaling. The satellite behavior change may include a satellite attitude or a transmit power or coverage area of one or more satellite beams. The user equipment parameters may include satellite or beam selection or reselection to listen to paging information, satellite or beam handover parameters, or transmit power control parameters.

摘要： A system and method to provide antenna diversity by switching between antenna feeds to optimize signal quality. Antenna conditions are determined during an OFDM guard interval to minimize disruption of symbol transmission. When the signal quality assessment determines that an improved signal is available on an alternative antenna, an antenna change is performed to switch to the alternative antenna, also during a GI, again minimizing disruption in information transmission. Preferably, the process is continually applied, so that antenna conditions are monitored for changing conditions and the antenna experiencing the best signal is selected.

摘要： A system and method for determining timing offset errors in a low earth orbit satellite system based upon Doppler and Doppler rate of change is provided. A user terminal determines first and second timing offsets respectively associated with first and second satellite beams from respective first and second satellites. Next, the user terminal determines the Doppler and Doppler rate of change associated with the first and second satellite beams. A timing offset is estimated from the measured Doppler and Doppler rate of change and is then compared with the user terminal's own determined timing offset. If the comparison does not produce a value within a predetermined threshold, a beam identification error is declared.

摘要： A method of operating a mobile terminal providing wireless communications can include receiving communications service from a first communications network providing service over a first coverage area. While receiving communications service from the first communications network, a first identity code can be received from a second communications network providing service over a plurality of second coverage areas wherein a first one of the second coverage areas includes the first coverage area and wherein the first identity code from the second communications network identifies availability of service with the second communications network in the first one of the second coverage areas. After loss of communications with the first communications network, a second identity code can be received from the second communications network. When the second identity code from the second communications network is different than the first identity code from the second communications network, a registration can be performed with the second communications network so that communications service can be received by the mobile terminal from the second communications network in a second one of the second coverage areas corresponding to the second identity code from the second communications network.
