    • A contactor device of a circuit breaker has a movable contactor to be raised or opened upon the occurrence of a short circuit current. One end portion of the movable contactor is bifurcated to form parallel claw members that engage a rotatable trip latch. When the movable contactor is raised due to a magnetic repelling force generated in the movable contactor and a fixed contactor during a short-circuit condition, the claw portions of the movable contactor are deformed due to a magnetic attractive force and are disengaged from the trip latch. The rotation of the movable contactor is restricted and it returns to the original positional relationship in which the claw members are engaged with the trip latch.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To break contact between a movable contact arm and a stationary contact arm when a current path between the movable contact arm and the stationary contact arm has a current with not less than a predetermined amplitude.SOLUTION: A circuit interruption device (100) comprises: a conductive element (218) configured to be coupled to a circuit; a contact arm (214) configured to move with respect to the conductive element (218) between a first position and a second position; and a biasing element (216) configured to apply biasing force on the contact arm (214) to maintain contact between the contact arm (214) and the conductive element (218) when the contact arm (214) is in the first position. The contact arm (214) is configured such that a current flow through the contact arm (214) causes electromagnetic repulsive force to act on the contact arm (214) in a second direction that is opposite a first direction.

    • PURPOSE: A circuit breaker and an assembling method thereof are provided to rapidly respond for abnormal current conditions by changing the direction of a current. CONSTITUTION: A circuit breaker comprises a base, a cover connected with the base, and one or more trap mechanisms. The trap mechanism comprises a conductive element(218) such as a line strap, and a contact arm(214). The conductive element is connected with a circuit. The contact arm comprises a first portion(242), a second portion(244), and a third portion(248). The contact arm is connected with a deflection element. The deflection element rotates the contact arm with a shaft as the center between a first position and a second position. The deflection element adds deflecting force to the contact arm.
