摘要： A cap assembly for an electrical pass-through includes a cap portion and a claw portion. The cap portion has a cap base that defines a cable axis. The cap portion has a plurality of angled lock surfaces and twist surfaces adjacent to the lock surfaces. The claw portion has a claw body with a claw opening that the cable axis extends through. The claw portion also has fingers that extend from the claw body towards the cap portion. The cap portion is movable relative to the claw portion to a locked position wherein each of the fingers engages one of the lock surfaces and is deflected toward the cable axis and each of the fingers engages one of the twist surfaces and is rotated relative to the claw base.

The method may include: fitting onto the cable a tubular, mushroom-shaped male member comprising a stem with a threaded portion and a portion with enlarged head; inserting into the hole the cable having the male member fitted thereon extending through said hole with said portion with enlarged head abutting against the periphery of the hole externally to the housing and said threaded portion protruding inside the housing; and retaining said male member in the hole by coupling with said threaded portion that protrudes inside the housing an annular female member in the form of a nut co-operating with the periphery of the hole inside said housing to counter the movement of the female member with respect to the housing.

摘要： A bushing is disclosed with a duct for accommodating a conductor which is surrounded by an electrical field grading insulation. The bushing includes a core with a shell encapsulating the grading insulation and a flange surrounding the shell and carrying through holes distributed over its circumference for allowing the bushing to be attached to a wall. The shell and the flange can be in one piece and include an insulating matrix material. The through holes can be surrounded by metal inserts each forming an annular surface flush with a surface of the flange. A test tap can include a contact pin which is electrically conductively connected to an outermost layer of the grading insulation and surrounded by a contact ring connected to every second metal insert by connection wires for grounding the contact pin via the contact ring when the test tap is not in use and covered. The core can be produced by filling a mold with the liquid matrix material after components of the grading insulation and other parts have been fixed in the liquid matrix material.
