摘要： An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes an input comprising input circuitry configured to receive an image and a processor configured to detect a skin area from the image to acquire information on a pixel value of a pixel included in the skin area, to acquire information on characteristics of the skin area based on a face area in the skin area, and to process image quality of the skin area based on the information on the pixel value and the information on the characteristics of the skin area. As a result, it is possible to reduce the image distortion of the skin area occurring when only the analysis of the quantitative elements is performed and to improve the image quality preference of the skin area based on the analysis of the qualitative elements in addition to the quantitative elements.

The method comprises: recognizing a face in a picture of a user; determining a personal identity corresponding to the recognized face, the personal identity comprising at least one of an identification of a person corresponding to the face and a relationship between the person corresponding to the face and the user; acquiring photographing information of the picture, the photographing information comprising at least one of a photographing time and a photographing location of the picture; and generating a description of the picture according to the personal identity and the photographing information. With this technical solution, a description of the picture can be generated more accurately, the intelligence for automatic description of a picture is improved to be closer to human's ability to describe the picture, the user can quickly get an accurate knowledge of every picture, and user experience is improved.

According to the invention, one or more media streams coded according to H.323 or SIP are transmitted to a streaming/archiving server for converting multimedia content into a standard streaming format. A face recognition unit analyzes the video part of the multimedia content to detect faces and identify the detected faces.
