摘要： Method and apparatus for producing fibre pulp and fuel out of municipal waste or for producing fibre pulp out of waste paper. To control the microbe content the retention time of the process is kept shorter than 12 hours, advantageously shorter than 6 hours. This is achieved by minimizing the total liquid volume of the process and by increasing the amount of water being passed to water treatment from the process, which water, having been purified, is possibly returned to the process. The method may also include a phase in which the pulp is treated thermally in order to destroy the microbes present in it.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for processing waste, in particular for utilising the recyclable material contained in waste, and a waste processing plant, in particular a plant processing waste fractions suitable for recycling of material. At first, the waste is pre-treated for removing undesirable matter. Fibre waste is separated from the other waste and processed into a raw material for paper or board. Plastics-containing matter is separated and processed into plastic oil by pyrolysis. The by-products from the processes and the waste fraction which remains of the processing are used as energy for the needs of the processes. The method can additionally comprise a stage in which waste wood is separated from the other waste and processed into a raw material for particleboard or equivalent.

摘要： A method of pulping baled waste material includes breaking up the bale and applying the broken bale to a fluffer or shredder (18) to form a fluffed or shredded waste paper product containing heavy and light contaminants. This product is applied to an air separator (20) from which heavier non-paper contaminant fraction is removed, and the remaining product is applied to the inlet of a vortex separator (30) which removes a light reject fraction and forms a second accepts fraction. The second accepts fraction is water soaked and applied to the inlet of a series of drum-type pulpers (55). The invention further includes a drum-type pulper (60) in which an axial shaft has radially-extending buckets (100) which dip into a pool of waste paper stock in which the buckets sweep the interior of the drum, lift a quantity of the stock from the pool, and allow the stock to drop back into the pool. Vanes (130) on the buckets cause the stock to move axially in the drum from an inlet (80) at one end to an outlet (82) at the opposite end.
