摘要： A nozzle assembly for dispensing liquid which is adjustable to direct the streams of liquid at various angles. Multiple aligned clamp blocks are secured to a mounting bracket. Adjacent clamp blocks have mutually facing surfaces with pairs of recesses formed therein to pivotally receive a plurality of nozzles. The nozzles each include a tubular member having a spherical portion received in the recesses. The tubes are connected to sources of liquid. The number of nozzles in the assembly may be increased by linear extension as well as by adding additional rows to increase the depth of the assembly. A threaded member secures the clamp blocks to the bracket with the clamp blocks being pivotable and the nozzles being pivotable until the threaded member is tightened. A fastener secures the bracket to a bulkhead with the bracket being pivotable until the fastener is tightened. The clamp blocks have tapered cross sections to allow pivoting of the nozzles.

摘要： Methods and apparatus describing a convenience beverage vending machine and its operation are described. An embedded computer interface allows consumers to create their own drinks or choose from a menu of drinks. Drinks are dispensed in a container. The beverages may be made from hot water, cold water or carbonated water that is mixed with various flavors of syrup, sweeteners and nutritional supplements. Identification may be presented and the computer recognizes the consumer and pulls up that consumer's account to determine funds available and previous drink selections and mixtures. The machine may incorporate an automatic cleaning cycle for both the valves and the dispense area.

In an exemplary embodiment, a multiple beverage dispensing device includes a dispensing array attached to a dispense point isolation device within a dispensing nozzle, the dispensing array facilitates flow of a beverage base and at least one beverage additive into the dispensing nozzle and the dispense point isolation device isolating discharge of beverage additive to prevent cross-contamination and color-carryover caused by the residual traces of beverage additive often associated with conventional dispensing devices. In many embodiments, the dispense point isolation device further includes one or more isolation features, including any or all of a recess, trough, notch, raised ridge or tubular projection around an exit orifice of the beverage additive flow channel so as to further isolate release of the beverage additive and further inhibit cross-contamination and color-carryover.

摘要： A method and apparatus for reconstituting consumable powder(s) with a liquid to provide a food liquid such as milk, cappuccino-type beverage, or soup with or without froth. The powder is introduced into a container (15) and pre-wetted by an intersecting liquid spray (13a). Further mixing occurs in the container. The container may have additional liquid streams (14a) feeding into the container for increased mixing. This food liquid can then be aspirated by the Venturi effect by steam generation to produce a frothed/aerated food liquid.
