A sheet correcting mechanism is disposed downstream of the sheet turning mechanism, and includes a feeding roller and a third follower roller for correcting an attitude of the sheet by feeding the sheet so as to abut the edge of the sheet turned by the sheet turning mechanism to the regulating member.

The machine can read check indicia, send check data to the host, receive authorization from the host to cash the check, and dispense cash corresponding to the check. The machine can also produce image data representative of the check indicia and determine whether the data can be accurately identified within a predetermined level of assurance. The machine can additionally print cancellation data on a cashed check, and then return the check to the machine user.

摘要： A conveying unit has a nipping hook to nip a sheet bundle and conveys the sheet bundle while nipping the sheet bundle with the nipping hook. A discharge roller sequentially discharges the sheet bundle conveyed by the conveying unit. A stack unit stacks the sheet bundle conveyed by the conveying unit. A shutter is provided between the discharge roller and the stack unit. A push-out lever is fixed to the discharge roller. An opening is provided on one side of the shutter, and a push-out part which causes the push-out lever to protrude to the stack unit from the opening of the shutter with a rotation of the nipping pawl is provided on the nipping hook. The push-out lever caused to protrude to the stack unit by the push-out part pushes out the sheet bundle to the stack unit in accordance with the rotation of the nipping hook.

The sheet feeding tray (600) includes retractable guides (620) that restrict lateral ends of the media (601) stacked in the sheet feeding tray (600). The retractable guides (620) can be kept laid when the sheet feeding tray (600) is not in use. Therefore, even when the retractable guides (620) are sufficiently large, the sheet feeding tray (600) can be compact when the sheet feeding tray (600) is not in use. Thus, when the sheet feeding tray (600) is housed in the main body (110), it is not necessary to provide a large recess space in the main body (110), and therefore it is not necessary to increase the size of the image forming apparatus.

摘要： A sheet-conveying device includes a sheet conveying path (2) along which a sheet is conveyed, a conveying roller (3), an inclined roller (4), an inclined-roller-supporting member (5,7) that supports the inclined roller such that the inclined roller can rotate around a rotational axis that is inclined with respect to a rotational axis of the conveying roller, and a sheet contact member (1) having a contact surface (1a) with which an edge portion of the sheet comes into contact. The inclined-roller-supporting member moves between a position where the inclined roller comes into pressure contact with the conveying roller and a position where the inclined roller is separated from the conveying roller (3). The sheet contact member moves between a position where the edge portion of the sheet can come into contact with the contact surface and a position where the contact surface cannot restrict the position of the edge portion of the sheet (6).
