摘要： The present invention provides a flexible storage bag (20) having an opening (40), a closure system for the opening, and a closure indicator. The closure indicator provides an audibly detectable signal upon closure, and optionally opening, of the closure system. The closure system may provide a seal which is preferably closed by a translatable slider as is known in the art. The translatable slider may intercept protuberances (61) causing the protuberances to produce a snap or clicking sound as the slider passes over the protuberances. Alternatively, the closure indicator may be an adhesive bond which is disrupted by the translation of the slider. The closure indicator is passive, meaning that no additional action beyond the ordinary and commonly accepted movement of the slider is required to produce the audible signal.

摘要： A reclosable food package (10) for sliced food products to be maintained in a shingled arrangement and to provide convenient top access to the food product, the package including a rigid base member (12) forming a compartment for receiving the food product and a rigid lid (14) secured to the base. Advantageously, the base member (12) includes a bottom wall (26) and side wall portions (28a,28b) that are configured to hold the food product in a shingled arrangement. The bottom wall (26) further includes at least one channel (32a-d) that facilitates removal of the food product and cooperates to provide stability when the package is placed in an upright or horizontal position resting upon its bottom wall. The lid (14) also has an inwardly extending annular bead (46) which provides an audible sound when the lid is being placed upon the base.
