摘要： A device for transporting and positioning a panel comprising an elongated support member and a base to carry the panel. An upright handle is attached to the support member providing support for the panel. An axle is secured to the support member with at least two wheels rotationally mounted on the axle permitting the support member to pivot about the axle for raising and lowering the support member ends. A lifting lip is attached to one end of the support member and a foot pedal attached to the other end. The panel is carried on the support member base and transported to a desired location. After removing the panel from the base and placing it on the lip, the wheels move the panel toward and away from the desired location. The foot pedal is depressed to pivot the support member about the axle lifting the panel to a desired height.

摘要： A combined door carrier and hanging device for transporting and hanging a door panel is provided. The combined device is generally defined by an elongated carrier structure having a first end and a second end, and includes a wheel supporting chassis to which a pair of beams are mounted and spaced apart to define an elongated slot. The chassis further supports a plurality of floor engaging foot members at the second end, a vise mechanism at the second end, and an axle having a plurality of floor engaging wheels at the first end. More specifically, the elongated slot is adapted to closely receive a door panel across its thickness, wherein one of the pair of beams is rigidly attached the chassis at the first end, but is free to flex at the second end to facilitate clamping of a door panel in the slot. The vise mechanism is attached to the chassis at the second end, which vise when operated compresses the second end of one beam moving the beam toward the other beam, thereby narrowing the slot and hence clamping upon a panel placed therein.

摘要： A cart for transporting doors, tables, plywood and other sheet material of various sizes consisting of: an axle with two wheels journalled on opposite ends of an axle. A V-channel is anchored to the axle perpendicular to it, into which the center of the long side of a table or sheathing is inserted and leaned against an upright standard which is anchored to the axle perpendicular to the axle and the V-channel. The loaded material is then held in an upright position against the upright standard by a retaining hook that slides freely up and down the upright standard resting on the top edge of the loaded material and hooking over it. The combination of V-channel, upright standard, and retaining hook allows the the cart to adjust to a wide range of different size material without the need of modification. Because the wheels are in the center of the load, the whole unit consisting of cart and loaded material is easily maneuvered and is very stable.

摘要： A load carrying cradle includes a pair of wheel assemblies, each of which accommodates a bicycle-type wheel rotatable therein. Each wheel assembly includes a pair of horizontal slots, one of which is positioned in front of the wheel with the other positioned behind the wheel. A pair of lengths of standard-size framing lumber are slidably positioned within the horizontal slots with the lumber extending between the wheel assemblies to form a load platform. The wheel assemblies are movable toward and away from each other on the lumber to accommodate various sizes of loads. Each wheel assembly also includes a pair of vertically oriented slots to accommodate a corresponding optional pair of vertically oriented pieces of lumber. The vertically oriented lumber allows the cradle to carry and support taller loads than would be possible with the wheel assemblies alone. The horizontally oriented slots are positioned substantially below the axis of rotation of the wheels for enhanced stability and the cradle has a turning radius equal to the spacing between the two wheels. When the cradle is disassembled, it can be conveniently stored.
