摘要： The present invention relates to a textile cord comprising at least two yarns, each yarn comprising multiple filaments, wherein each filament comprises polyethylene furanoate reinforced by carbon nano material and/or boron nitride nano material. These textile cords are particularly useful as tire reinforcements. Moreover, the present invention is directed to a polymeric composition comprising (1) polyethylene-2,5-furan dicarboxylate and (2) a carbon nano material or a boron nitride nano material. This polymeric composition can optionally be further comprised of one or more additional polyesters, such as polyethylene terephthalate or polyethylene naphthalate. This invention is further directed to a rubber component comprising said cords coated with rubber and to tires and other rubber products comprising such cords.

摘要： Provided is a tire in which a steel cord applied to a carcass ply has improved corrosion resistance to water penetration, fretting resistance, and cord untwisting resistance. Provided is a tire including a carcass ply (1) as a skeleton. The carcass ply is reinforced by a steel cord including no wrapping filament. The steel cord is composed of a plurality of steel filaments having 3 or more core filaments, at least a part of the surface of each of the plurality of steel filaments is coated with a resin material containing at least an ionomer, and when a resin component contained in the resin material is composed of a single resin, the melting point of the resin material is 150° C. or less, and when the resin component is composed of a composition containing two or more resins, the softening point of the resin material is 150° C. or less.

摘要： The present invention relates to a novel tire cord reinforcement made of ultra high modulus aramid fibers which has bi-elastic tensile properties. The cord includes at least two plies, and there is a spacing between the cord plies. The cord twisting improves bending and compression fatigue resistance of the aramid, but at the same time reduces the modulus and strength too.

Provided that the area of the side reinforcing rubber is S1, the area of a bead filler is S2, and the area of a rubber chafer is S3, the following expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied: 0.10≦(S2+S3)/S1≦2.50 (1) 0≦S2/(S2+S3)≦0.9 (2), a reinforcing cord of a carcass ply is composed of a polyester fiber and/or an aramid fiber, and subjected to an adhesive agent treatment in which an adhesive agent containing at least one of a thermoplastic polymer, a heat reactive aqueous urethane resin, and an epoxide compound is used for a first bath, an RFL-based adhesive agent is used for a second bath, and a principal chain of the thermoplastic polymer substantially fails to include a double bond between carbons having an addition reactivity, is composed of an ethylene addition polymer and/or a urethane-based high molecular weight polymer, each of which is composed mostly of a linear chain structure, and includes a cross-linkable functional group as a pendant group.
