摘要： The present disclosure includes a coil protection assembly configured to be incorporated into a piece of sports equipment such as a glove, shin guard, or shoulder pad. The coil protection assembly may include a coil element spiraled to form a plurality of loops. The coil protection assembly may also have a foam layer disposed on the interior surface of the coil element. An outer layer may enclose or encase the coil element and the foam layer with the loops free to move with respect to one another, A strip of liner material may be secured to the outer layer to connect the loop together. The liner material may be an elastic material to allow the loops to move away from each other, yet still retract back to a default position.

摘要： Sport boots have an outer shell and an ankle compression system attached to and positioned within the outer shell to apply selective compressive force against an anterior ankle portion of a person's foot when wearing the boot. The ankle compression system includes an ankle compression member positioned forwardly adjacent to the anterior ankle portion and at least one medial positioning band having a lower terminal end immovably fixed to a medial edge portion of the strobel and having an opposite end operatively associated with the ankle compression member. An adjustment lace is connected to the ankle compression member and is operatively connected to a tightening member positioned on a lateral side of the outer shell so that operation of the tightening causes the adjustment lace to forcibly draw the ankle compression member toward and exert a selective compressive force against the anterior ankle portion of the person's foot.

The gear can be in the form of an arm guard including a forearm guard, a biceps guard and a sleeve. The sleeve can be joined with the forearm guard and an upper end of the biceps guard, with a lower end of the biceps guard being free from attachment to the sleeve to facilitate radioulnar rotation of the forearm guard and thus the forearm of the wearer. The arm guard can include a low profile elbow cap that is integral with the forearm guard, and generally free floating within and joined with the forearm guard, rather than being a separate component from the forearm guard.

摘要： A leg protector for protecting the lower leg of a sports player against injury is disclosed. The leg protector comprises a sock and a plurality of protection pads. The sock is worn, in use, over the player's lower leg. Each protection pad comprises a rear surface that is detachably engageable with the worn sock so that, when engaged, the rear surface faces inward towards the player's lower leg and a corresponding front surface faces out away from the player's lower leg. Each of the plurality of protection pads are arranged for placement at a position that protects a respective area of the player's lower leg. A first protection pad can protect an upper shin area; a second protection pad can protect a lower shin and ankle area; and a third protection pad can protect a metatarsal area of the player's lower leg.
