摘要： A fall protection device including a first housing part, a second housing part, a rotation unit, a safety belt, a spiral spring for coiling the safety belt around the rotation unit and a brake unit for limiting rotation of the rotation unit is disclosed. The first and the second housing parts respectively include a first containing room and a second containing room. The first and the second housing parts conjugate with each other and constitute a housing. The brake unit is positioned in the first containing rooms, while part of the safety belt and the spiral spring are positioned in the second containing rooms. By separately positioning the brake unit and the safety belt in the first and the second rooms, the dust coiled together with the safety belt into the housing will not adhere to the brake unit and its effect on the brake unit's function is prevented.

摘要： The cable grab safety device releasably attaches a workman's safety lanyard to a steel cable. A primary frame constructed of an elongated U-shaped bracket having a pair of spaced apart parallel side plates fits around the cable. A secondary frame also comprised of a pair of side plates fits within the U-shaped bracket after the cable is inserted. The secondary frame carries a brake in the form of a pulley mounted in an elongated slot movable toward or away from the cable. A lever attached to a worker's lanyard moves the pulley only in the inward direction to engage the cable in the event of a fall. A bent pin connected between the primary and secondary frames allows for limited pivotal and axial movement between them allowing the cable to be inserted into the U-shaped bracket. A separate locking pin secures the frame members together.

摘要： The present system for fall restraint includes a mounting frame connected to a trigger mechanism and firing blocks, with a trigger cable extending through apertures in the mounting frame and trigger mechanism. Sudden movement by a user, such as a fall, actuates the trigger mechanism to trigger the firing blocks. The firing blocks are loaded with anchors and firing cartridges. Triggering the firing blocks causes the cartridges to fire, propelling the anchors into an anchoring surface, such as a roof. Because the user is connected to the trigger cable, once the anchors deploy the user is anchored to the roof and their fall arrested.

摘要： A fall protection and buffering device includes a retaining strip, and a buffer strip having a length shorter than the retaining strip. The buffer strip has first and second strip sections between two ends and includes first and second textile layers overlappedly affixed with each other. The first and second textile layers are separated at one end of the buffer strip at the first strip section thereof and are affixed to top and bottom ends of the retaining strip respectively. The first and second textile layers are torn from each other sequentially along the first and second strip sections of the buffer strip in response to a falling force applied to the retaining strip. A tensile strength of tearing the first and second textile layers at the first strip section is different from a tensile strength of tearing the first and second textile layers at the second strip section.

A safety rope extends passing through both first and second ends. The body structure has an elongated slot extending between the ends. The two or more tubular spacers are placed internal of the body structure with the safety rope passing through each spacer. The one or more lanyards are for attachment to a climber. Each lanyard has at least one locking element. The device is aligned with and free to slide along the safety rope during ascent or descent of the climber and in the event of a fall, the at least one locking element tightens as it pulls on the safety rope pulling the rope out of alignment and thereby cinching to the rope.
