摘要： A variable diameter discharge system for controlling the flow and distribution of a material being fed into a bin. The variable diameter discharge system generally includes a storage bin including a bin opening for receiving a material to be stored in the storage bin. A hopper is suspended beneath the bin opening such that materials fed into the bin opening pass through the hopper. A ring member is connected to the hopper which includes a plurality of guide members adjustable between a first position and a second position. An opening is defined between the guide members; with the opening enlarging as the guide members are adjusted toward the second position. Springs connected between the guide members and the ring member bias the guide members toward the first position. The guide members move from the first position to the second position when a material is flowing through the opening.

A generally conical body (1) is suspended for rotation about its longitudinal axis in the container below the outlet of the fill spout of the container, and the upper narrow end of the body faces the mouth of the fill spout (2) and forms the bottom of a number of upwardly open channels which are distributed over the outer side of the body in the peripheral direction thereof and open at the lower end of the body, each of the channels being associated with a transverse blade (7) fixed to the conical body radially outwardly of the lower end thereof. The blades (7) take different degrees of inclination to the longitudinal axis of the body.

摘要： In an apparatus for directing material from a blower pipe line onto a stove surface or into an enclosed space, a rotating deflecting flap is positioned in the path of the material issuing from the discharge end of the pipe line for distributing it in a uniform manner. The deflecting flap is positioned outwardly from the discharge end of the pipe line and extends in a downwardly inclined fashion so that its surface extends into the path of the material flowing from the pipe line. Further, the deflecting flap is not only rotatable about the axis of the discharge end of the pipe line but is angularly displaceable relative to the pipe line axis for varying the manner in which the material is directed from the flap. To provide the desired movement of the deflecting flap, a pair of wind wheels are provided in the path of the discharge end of the pipe line on opposite sides of the discharge axis, and motion transmission means are connected between the wind wheels and the deflecting flap. The wind wheels are pivotally supported so that they can be arcuately displaced outwardly from the axis of the discharge end of the pipe line.
