    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which is good in flowability and which provides a molded article excellent in scratch resistance, glossiness, color developing property and shock resistance, and to provide a molded article excellent in scratch resistance, glossiness, color developing property and shock resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided the thermoplastic resin composition including a graft copolymer (D) and a methacrylate ester resin (E). The graft copolymer (D) is obtained by polymerizing a vinyl-based monomer mixture (m1) including an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyanide compound in the presence of an ethylene α-olefin copolymer (A) having a mass average molecular weight (Mw) of 17×10to 35×10and a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 1 to 3, or in the presence of a crosslinked ethylene α-olefin copolymer (C) obtained by subjecting the ethylene α-olefin copolymer (A) to cross-linking treatment. The methacrylate ester resin (E) is obtained by polymerizing a vinyl-based monomer mixture (m2) including methacrylate ester.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graft copolymer suitable as a material of thermoplastic resin composition which has good flowability and can provide a molded article excellent in shock resistance, scratch resistance, and also glossiness and color developing property.SOLUTION: There is provided the graft copolymer obtained by polymerizing a vinyl-based monomer mixture including an aromatic vinyl-based monomer and a vinyl cyanide-based monomer in the presence of a crosslinked olefin resin which has a gel content of 35 to 75 mass% and which is obtained by crosslinking treatment of ethylene α-olefin copolymer having a mass average molecular weight (Mw) of 17×10to 35×10and a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 1 to 3, the weight distribution (Mw/Mn) being represented by a ratio between the mass average molecular weight (Mw) and a number average molecular weight (Mn).
