摘要： PURPOSE: To control the lift speed of a pile lift base automatically. CONSTITUTION: After this pile lifter is connected, a pile lift base 2 is lifted and maintained at the position until an upper level signal is transmitted. After that, the number of sheets ejected from a sheet pile 5 is counted by a counting element until a low level signal is transmitted, so that an equivalent signal is transmitted at a control unit 9 and by an electric motor 4 of the pile lift base 2, the pile lift base 2 is controlled in lift by the high difference between the prescribed upper level and lower level until the second upper level signal is transmitted. The control unit 9 determines the thickness of a sheet from the vertical difference between the upper level and lower level and the number of the counted sheets, determines the lifting speed from the thickness of sheets and the sheet cycle time. The lift speed is memorized as a controlling variable for the electric motor, thus the electric is controlled by the controlling variable at least for roughly continuous operation after the second upper level signal is transmitted.

A flat surface 7' is disposed on the cylinder shoulder 13 so as to oppose the surface 7. The adjoining surfaces 7, 7' form a connection between the cylinder 1 and the inner race 5 of bearing through connection members 6, e.g. screws, in releasably connected relationship.
