    • The present invention provides a double interfaced storage communication network card with a communication protocol device, more specifically, a double interfaced integral device has a communicating transmission protocol interface and a storage communication network card interface; the said storage communication network card includes all of the peripheral products corresponding with the regulations of the portable computer cards as well as the compact flash cards and is disposed with the communication protocol device of the USB or the 1394 regulation; a micro control chip automatically detects, judges and supports the interfaces of the said two kinds of devices to directly interface the central process unit (CPU) system without going through an intermediate products, such as a card reader, thereby significantly enhances the facilitation of interfacing and connecting between all of the peripheral equipment products corresponding with the regulation of the storage communication network card and the CPU system.

    • A storage device having independent storage areas and password protection method thereof are described for resolving the problem of a prior-art storage device assigning its storage memory to a single continuous storage area and its data protection. The multi-sector storage device has a password protection function with an application system being electrically coupled to a control unit through a system end interface. The control unit is electrically coupled to a storage medium through a storage medium interface, and the total storage space of the storage medium includes a plurality of independent storage areas and a dedicated specific area. Several special instruction sets and control methods are built into the control unit, and the objective of the invention is to divide the storage space of the storage device into several independent areas as to enhance the protection of the stored data.

    • The adapter for communication cards especially suits small portable digital devices with operating systems and serial interfaces, these devices can do network data transmission and communication works through communication systems. The adapter is provided on the main body thereof with a transmission unit, a base and at least an insertion slot. Wherein, the base can receive thereon a small portable digital device, a first set of interface pins of the specification same as that of the serial interface of the digital device are provided on the base at a position corresponding to that of the serial interface. The insertion slot is provided for insertion of a communication card, a second set of interface pins are provided therein for connecting with the card. When the first set and the second set of interface pins are connected respectively with the digital device and the card, the digital device can do the works of transmission and communication of network data through the communication card by signal changing of the transmission unit.
