When a worker fits a connector housing 10 to be tested over the forward end of a feed part 1A and pushes deep the connector housing 10, forward end part 2A of detection pin 2 is fitted in an air gap part 10D. If the head of spacer 4 can be pushed down by a finger when the housing 10 is fitted over the feed part 1A, a connection terminal 11 in the housing 10 is engaged normally with a terminal containing room 10A and an inspection can be carried out. Furthermore, depression of spacer 4 can be ascertained easily, based on the lighting of an LED 6.
