    • A computer-implemented reservoir prediction system, method, and software are provided for updating simulation models of a subterranean reservoir. An ensemble of reservoir models representing a subterranean reservoir having non-Gaussian characteristics is provided, along with reservoir data from the subterranean reservoir used to condition the ensemble of reservoir models. For each of the reservoir models in the ensemble of reservoir models, a constrained optimization with equality constraints and inequality constraints are solved using a constrained Kernel Ensemble Kalman Filter to obtain a constrained optimal solution. The constrained optimal solutions are assembled to update the ensemble of reservoir models. The updated ensemble of reservoir models are consistent with the reservoir data provided from the subterranean reservoir and the non-Gaussian characteristics of the subterranean reservoir are preserved.

    • Systems and methods of identifying media content, such as video content, that employ fingerprint matching at the level of video frames. The presently disclosed systems and methods of identifying media content can extract one or more fingerprints from a plurality of video frames included in query video content, and, for each of the plurality of video frames from the query video content, perform frame-level fingerprint matching of the extracted fingerprints against fingerprints extracted from video frames included in a plurality of reference video content. Using the results of such frame-level fingerprint matching, the presently disclosed systems and methods of identifying media content can identify the query content in relation to an overall sequence of video frames from at least one of the plurality of reference content, and/or in relation to respective video frames included in a sequence of video frames from the reference content.

    • Embodiments of the invention are a novel splicing detection scheme that detects the spliced images by distinguishing image features that are extracted by exploiting both magnitude and phase information of a given image. The image features include the statistical moments of characteristic functions of wavelet subbands of a test image and a prediction-error image. In addition, the approximation (LL) subband at different levels is individually erased by forcing the wavelet coefficients to zero and the inverse wavelet transform is applied in order to produce reconstructed image with enhanced high frequency components. Further, the moments of the characteristic functions of these reconstructed images provide additional image features. Moreover, the statistics (mean, variance, skewness and kurtosis) of 2-D phase congruency array associated with the reconstructed images provide additional image features for splicing detection. These inputs provide a 120 dimensional image feature vector that includes 96 moment features and 24 phase features.
