摘要： The invention provides a fluoropolymer coated film comprising: a polymeric substrate film; and a fluoropolymer coating on the polymeric substrate film, the fluoropolymer coating comprising a vinyl fluoride copolymer comprised of about 40 to about 90 mole % of repeat units derived from vinyl fluoride and about 10 to about 60 mole % of repeat units derived from monomer selected from the group consisting of (a) and (b) below and mixtures thereof, with the proviso that about 0.1 mole % to 50 mole % of repeat units in the copolymer are derived from monomer selected from (b): (a) monomer selected from the group consisting of, tetrafluoroethylene, trifluoroethylene, chlorotrifluoroethylene and mixtures thereof; and (b) vinyl monomer containing at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of hydroxyls, thiols, carbonyls, carboxylic acids, carboxylic esters, acid anhydrides, sulfonyls, sulfonic acids, sulfonic esters, phosphoric acids, phosphoric esters, boric acids, boric esters, epoxies, isocyanates, thiocyanates, amines, amides, nitriles and halogen selected from bromide and iodide, wherein the polymeric substrate film comprises functional groups that interact with the functional groups of the vinyl fluoride copolymer to promote bonding of the fluoropolymer coating to the polymeric substrate film.

摘要： In a high-pressure discharge lamp that includes a bulb formed from a light emitting part having a discharge space therein and a pair of sealing parts connected to the light emitting part, and an electrode pair disposed within the discharge space, a section of a proximity conductor is wound substantially spirally around one of the sealing parts within a predetermined range from the light emitting part, while the remaining section of the proximity conductor crosses over the light emitting part and is electrically connected to the electrode nearer the other sealing part. By initiating a discharge after applying a high-frequency voltage of 1 kHz to 1 MHz to a high-pressure mercury lamp having this structure, the breakdown voltage can be suppressed to at least 8 kV.

摘要： A defect on the surface or in the surface layer of a moving material can be detected by using a method comprising steps of: heating the surface of the material, obtaining thermal image data of the surface of the material using an infrared thermography camera while the surface of the material is being heated up at the heating step or being cooled down after heating, and detecting the defect by calculating Laplacian with respect to temperature of the surface represented by the thermal image data. When the thermal image data is obtained while the material is being heated up, a heating device and the camera is arranged so that thermal energy emitted from the heating device is reflected by the material to come into the camera.
