    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attaching of a mat to a casing and prevent increase of the weight of a burner by a method wherein the formed by entangling a multitude of metallic fine wires having a specified diameter to pass the mixture of combustion gas and air and burn the same on the surface thereof, is fixed to the casing through welding. SOLUTION: A mat 1 is prepared by entangling a multitude of heat resistant metallic fine wires having the diameter of 20-100 μm and baking the same to obtain a porous plate. The electric resistance of the porous plate is high but that of a metallic plate is low. The porous metallic plate can hardly be welded to the metallic plate through spot welding since a difference between the electric resistances of them is too big and, therefore, the spot welding is facilitated by arranging a metallic sheet on the welding surface or by increasing the density of the metallic wires. The mat 1 is welded to a casing 2 under a condition that they are contacted directly while sealing property can be improved by applying spot welding under a condition that a packing is pinched between the mat 1 and a patch 6 or the casing 2. A surface combustion burner is prepared by welding whereby the number of parts can be reduced, the structure of the same can be simplified and the weight of device can be lightened.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform the catching and the removal of dust by providing a filter which catches and removes dust in air being taken into from the outside, while rotating, at an air inlet part. SOLUTION: By rotating a filter 13 or filters 13, 15 by a fan motor 7, etc., the taking-in of sufficient air into an air inlet part 2, and the catching and the removal of dust in the fed air can be performed at the same time. That is, the dust which is heavier than the air to be fed is caught by the air pressure and a variation of the air stream in the vicinity of the filter by the rotation, and can be splashed and dropped to the outside of the air inlet part 2. Therefore, the dust in the fed air can be sufficiently suppressed from passing through a feeding air passage part 3 from the air inlet part 2 and reaching a porous mat 9, and therefore, a clogging of the porous mat 9 can be suppressed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a high temperature oxidation resisting property and workability of a metallic fine wire by a method wherein either iron, chromium, silicon and boron or iron, chromium, aluminum and boron are included as constituent elements of metallic fine wire with a wire diameter of not more than a specified size. SOLUTION: A copper roll 1 having a diameter of 20cm, for example, is rotated at a specified rotating speed. Then, the extremity end of a rod-like raw material metal M with a diameter of 6mm supported by a cylindrical holder 2 facing toward the copper roll 1 is heated and melted by a high frequency heating coil 3 while it is being gradually pushed upwards by a pushing-up member 4. Then, the extremity end of the molten rod-like raw material metal M is brought into contact with a periphery of an acute edge of the rotating copper roll 1 to form a metallic fine wire ML with a diameter of about 20 to 100μm. In this case, as the rod-like raw material metal M, material in which 0.5wt.% of boron is added to an alloy of iron-chromium-silicon is applied. Further, also in the case of an alloy of iron-chromium-aluminum, boron is contained in it.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a fine wire to be used as mat material for a surface combustion burner, a filter material for a high temperature and an anti-vibration material for a high temperature or the like by a method wherein iron, chromium and silicon are contained in composing elements of the metallic fine wire having a wire diameter less than its specified size. SOLUTION: A copper disk 1 having an acute edge at its circumferential edge is rotated at a low speed of a predetermined rotational speed. Then, a rod-like raw material metal M made of an alloy of iron-chromium-silicon supported at a cylindrical holder 2 is pushed up gradually by a pushing-up member 4 toward the copper disk 1 and its extremity end is heated and melted by a high frequency heating coil 3. Then, the extremity end of the molten raw material metal M is contacted with the circumferential edge forming an acute edge of the rotating disk 1 so as to form a metallic fine wire ML with a diameter of about 20 to 100μm, for example. In addition, an amount of inclusion of chromium acting as composing element of the metallic fine wire ML is set to have a range except 16wt.% to 24wt.% and further a rare-earth metal more than 0.05wt.% is added to it. With such an arrangement as above, stability and durability of the mat for surface combustion burner are improved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent back fire from occurring and enhance high temperature oxidation resistance even if thickness of plate is thin by guiding material metal from a lower side in a vicinity of a metallic circular disc having a protrusion protruding from a periphery thereof, melting the raw material metal to make thin metallic wire and randomly tangling, weaving into meshes, or simply laminating the metallic wire. SOLUTION: A raw material metal held in a tubular guiding member 12 is contained in a chamber 16, which is evacuated in order to the raw material metal and metal wire from being oxidized before gas is allowed to enter the chamber 16. A circular copper disk 11 is rotated at a constant velocity. The raw material metal (M) is pushed upward through the tubular guiding member 12 by an upwardly pushing member 14 and an distal end portion is heated and melted by a high frequency induction coil 13. The molten distal end portion of the raw material metal (M) is made to get into contact with a periphery of the circular copper disk 11 which is being rotated to form thin metallic wire 5. As the distal end portion of the raw material metal (M) is consumed, an actuator 18 effects control so as to keep state of contact of the material metal (M) with the circular copper disk 11 constant. Heat radiation effect is enhanced and effect of preventing back fire from occurring is also enhanced. High temperature oxidation resistance is also enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To enable ground clearance adjustment and attitude control without using a special actuator by supporting both ends of a transverse suspension spring on the wheel side in capable of displacement in the vertical direction and by supporting an intermediate part in the longitudinal direction through a pair of right and left actuators whose length in the vertical direction can be changed. CONSTITUTION:When a rated load is loaded, a spring 2 is deflected according to the size of the load and resiliency of the spring 2 is balanced with the load at a ground clearance 'H'. When superimposed load is increased, the spring 2 is largely deflected, which is received as a signal 64 of a ground clearance sensor and so on so as to drive a hydraulic unit 62, to supply fluid to actuators 40a and 41, and to return the ground clearance to the ground clearance 'H' before load change. Contrarily, when the load is decreased, the actuators 40 and 41 are contracted. Also, when a car body is inclined by rolling and so on, the actuators 40 and 41 are operated in the direction opposite to each other so as to control attitude.
