    • The pressure control valve is structured such that a first port is formed on one side of a casing, a second port is formed on the other side, and, in the casing, there are disposed not only a positive pressure valve which, when the pressure on the first port side becomes high, can be moved to the second port side to thereby communicate with the second port side, but also a negative pressure valve which, when the pressure on the first port side becomes low, can be moved to the first port side to thereby communicate with the second port side. In the pressure control valve, there is provided flow passage expanding means which, which the positive pressure valve has moved to the second port side beyond a given distance, allows the first port side to communicate with the second port side. Further, the evaporation fuel discharge control device comprises first communicating means which allows the upstream side of a switch valve to communicate with an pressure introduction passage when the pressure on the upstream side of the switch valve is higher by a given value or more than the pressure on the pressure introduction passage side, and second communicating means which allows the upstream side of the switch valve to communicate with the pressure introduction passage when the pressure on the pressure introduction passage side is higher by a given value or more than the pressure on the upstream side of the switch valve.

    • The user observes a liquid crystal display panel screen positioned within a lens barrel through a lens. An infrared LED that emits pulses of light and a phototransistor are positioned in an eyecup against which the user's eye is pressed. An ambient light detecting circuit provides a control signal showing whether or not the user's eye is pressed against the eyecup and a control signal showing the amount of ambient light on the basis of the output signal of the phototransistor. A control circuit controls the luminance of a backlight unit according to the control signals. When the user's eye is not pressed against the eyecup, the display luminance is reduced to zero and the display is turned off. The display luminance is enhanced only when the amount of ambient light is large. Thus, needless power consumption can be avoided, and the screen can be satisfactorily observed even if a large quantity of light enters into the ocular part where the ambient light is bright.

    • In a flyback transformer circuit for a cathode-ray tube of the type arranged such that secondary windings of the flyback transformer are isolated from an a.c. power source, a positive terminal of at least one secondary winding of the flyback transformer is connected via a capacitor or a series circuit of a capacitor and a parallel circuit of a resistor and a coil to a terminal which is coupled with the commercial a.c. power source via low impedance in connection with high frequency. With the provision of the capacitor or the series circuit including the capacitor, the potential at the positive terminal of the secondary winding is made equal to that at the commercial a.c. power source in connection with high frequency components, and thus the flyback pulse appearing at the positive terminal of the secondary winding has the same polarity and substantially the same peak value as that appearing at the above-mentioned terminal. As a result noise caused from flyback pulses is effectively prevented from entering the ground line or earth to avoid undesirable phenomena caused from such noise.
