摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce wear and fine deformation accompanying attachment and detachment and to perform stable attachment/detachment coupling numbers of times by coating the surface of a guide pin groove with a protection layer which has higher hardness or a higher Young's modulus than a guide groove substrate. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber guide member 10 consists of the guide groove substrate 11 which has an optical fiber guide groove 13 and the guide pin groove 14 on the top surface and a top surface plate 12 which is joined on the optical fiber guide groove 13 across a thin film adhesive layer while at least part of the guide pin groove 14 is exposed. Then the surface of the guide pin groove 14 is coated with the protection layer 15 which has the higher hardness or Young's modulus than a member constituting the guide groove substrate 1. Consequently, the wear and fine deformation accompanying attachment and detachment are made small and the attachment/detachment coupling is performed stably >=1,000 times.

A part of the partition between the adjacent optical fiber guide holes 3 out of plural holes 3 forms the connection part 4 by notch, etc. Since the connection part 4 is formed on the partition between the adjacent optical fiber guide holes 3 is formed, resistance at the time inserting the adjacent body is reduced and injecting performance is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To position and fix optical fibers with high accuracy by positioning a member which can be varied in a vertical direction on the guide pin grooves of an optical fiber coupling member and elastically pressurizing the guide pins inserted into the grooves toward the grooved substrate by this member. CONSTITUTION:A housing body 22 houses the optical fiber guide member 10 and pressurizes a cover plate 12 on the optical fiber guide grooves 13 toward the grooved substrate 11 direction. The member 21 which can be varied in the vertical direction is formed to a part in the front part via a notched groove 23. This member 21 is positioned on the guide pins 3 and the guide pins 3 are elastically pressurized onto the guide pin grooves 14 by this member. The guide pins 3 are thereby brought into contact with the V-groove surfaces on the substrate 11 side at all times and, therefore, even if there are some fluctuations in the diameter of the guide pins, the guide pins 3 are fixed at all times into the guide pin grooves 14. The relative positions of the optical fiber guide holes with respect to the central position of the guide p[ins are thereby fixed with high accuracy.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a fiber connection member from breaking even when an optical connector is applied with an external force such as bending stress by forming a contact part which contacts an insertion hole for two optical fiber connection members and also providing a noncontact part which does not contact the insertion hole at least one position. CONSTITUTION:The contact part A which contacts the insertion hole for the two fiber connection members 3 is formed and the noncontact part B which does not contact the insertion hole is provided at least one position. Therefore, when the external force such as bending stress is applied to the optical connector, the external force is absorbed and reduced through the operation of a guide pin, which breaks earlier than the fiber connection members. Consequently, the external force is inhibited from operating directly on the fiber connection members and causing the fiber connection members to break.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely align bare fibers from which the coatings of coated optical fibers are removed to a V-groove substrate. SOLUTION: A positioning guide 1 is provided with V-grooves, in every other of which guide pins 2 are arranged. With these guide pins 2 as guides, the bare fibers 3 of the first ribbon-like coated optical fiber are positioned (A) and the bare fibers 3 are aligned (B). The guide pins 2 are then removed and the bare fibers 4 are positioned. The bare fibers 3 play the effect similar to the effect of the guide pins in positioning of the bare fibers 4 (C). The bare fibers 4 are aligned in the manner described above (D). The bare fibers are aligned to the V-grooves of the V-groove substrate in an aligned state.

(4) The first mechanism is the fit with the ruggedness of the optical connector flanks. (5) The plural optical connectors 2 are made to be disconnected at the same time.

SOLUTION: On the beam part 1c of a substrate member 1 where V-shaped grooves 1a for arranging optical fiber elements and casing placing part 1b for mounting a casing of a optical fiber cable, a temporarily positioning member 2 is fixed such that it string over V-shaped grooves 1a. Because the gaps between the temporarily positioning member 2 and V-shaped grooves 1a are smaller than the outer diameter of optical fiber wire, optical fiber wire inserted from back side does not move to its adjacent groove. The substrate member 1 is fixed with a cover member 3 and casing part of the optical fiber cable using adhesive agent such that optical fiber wires which are inserted from back side and arranged on the V-shaped grooves are pushed by the cover member 3.
