    • PURPOSE:To position and fix optical fibers with high accuracy by positioning a member which can be varied in a vertical direction on the guide pin grooves of an optical fiber coupling member and elastically pressurizing the guide pins inserted into the grooves toward the grooved substrate by this member. CONSTITUTION:A housing body 22 houses the optical fiber guide member 10 and pressurizes a cover plate 12 on the optical fiber guide grooves 13 toward the grooved substrate 11 direction. The member 21 which can be varied in the vertical direction is formed to a part in the front part via a notched groove 23. This member 21 is positioned on the guide pins 3 and the guide pins 3 are elastically pressurized onto the guide pin grooves 14 by this member. The guide pins 3 are thereby brought into contact with the V-groove surfaces on the substrate 11 side at all times and, therefore, even if there are some fluctuations in the diameter of the guide pins, the guide pins 3 are fixed at all times into the guide pin grooves 14. The relative positions of the optical fiber guide holes with respect to the central position of the guide p[ins are thereby fixed with high accuracy.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the movements of a push-pull type optical connector arranged on a wiring board at the disconnecting of this optical connector via an adapter, to protect other electronic components and to make the jig additionally effective particularly in terms of having a mechanism for extruding the optical connector in an auxiliary manner from forward. SOLUTION: This optical connector disconnecting jig is a disconnecting jig for the optical connector, having a push-pull attaching and detaching mechanism via an adapter. (1) The jig has a first mechanism which clamps the optical connector 2 from a lateral side and a second mechanism which extends to the opposite side of the first mechanism beyond the adapter 3 and extrudes the optical connector 2 in a disconnecting direction from forward. (2) The jig has a third mechanism which acts as a stopper to limit the movement in the disconnecting direction to a specified quantity, after releasing the fitting pawl of the optical connector 2. (3) The third mechanism described above comprises the butting of the second mechanism against the adapter 3 after the extrusion of the optical connector 2. (4) The first mechanism is the fit with the ruggedness of the optical connector flanks. (5) The plural optical connectors 2 are made to be disconnected at the same time.
