摘要： Disclosed herein are a washing machine and a control method of the same that is capable of maximizing a contact time between water and laundry, thereby improving the rinsing efficiency while using a small amount of water. The washing machine includes a water tub, a rotary drum mounted in the water tub to receive laundry, and a circulation unit to supply water from the water tub into the rotary drum. The control method includes detecting an amount of load according to a weight of the laundry, supplying an amount of water set according to the detected amount of load into the water tub, and supplying the water in the water tub to the laundry by alternately operating the rotary drum and the circulation unit.

摘要： Disclosed is a novel healthy and functional food having an obesity-suppressing activity. The healthy and functional food according to the present invention is manufactured by using an extract or a raw juice of purple-colored potato as a main/minor ingredient, or by adding the extract or a raw juice of purple-colored potato to various favorite foods. The extract of purple-colored potato according to the present invention has an obesity-suppressing activity by preventing an adipose cell from being differentiated and reducing leptin protein aiding to differentiate into adipose cells, and has an ability to reduce free fatty acid which is a hyperlipidemia-inducing factor and cholesterol in blood. Therefore, the healthy and functional food containing the extract of purple-colored potato according to the present invention can be useful to treat obesity patients including a wide age group of teenagers and adults and old persons.

The control method includes generating detergent concentrate liquid required for generation of the bubbles, supplying the detergent concentrate liquid and water into a water tub, generating the bubbles from detergent water as a mixture of the detergent concentrate liquid and the water, followed by supplying the bubbles to laundry, and washing the laundry using the bubbles. The bubbles act as a cushion to reduce friction between the laundry, thereby preventing texture of the laundry from being damaged due to the friction between the laundry and strong water stream while allowing dirt on the laundry to be effectively removed due to a high concentration of detergent in the bubbles.

In one embodiment, the invention provides novel polymeric dendrimers as a new class of fluorescent labels. The labels can include multiple fluorescent dye molecules conjugated to a single polymeric backbone or core, such as a dendrimer. The dendrimers can have regular or irregular branched polymeric network structures that allow for the chemical attachment of multiple dye molecules, multiple color dyes, and/or multiple functional groups, in a combinatorial fashion. The fluorescent dendritic nanoprobes (FDNs) thus provide a new class of fluorescent reporters for fluorescence microscopy and imaging.

摘要： A gate driving circuit includes N stages (where N is a natural number greater than or equal to 2). The N stages are cascaded, and each of the N stages has a gate line connected thereto. A first stage group includes k stages of the N stages (where k is a natural number less than N), and the first stage group outputs a first output signal in response to a start signal. A second stage group (including N−k stages) generates a second output signal in response to the first output signal and outputs the second output signal to a corresponding gate line. The first stage group includes a first buffer and a second buffer, each of which receives the start signal. A size of the first buffer is smaller than a size of the second buffer.
