    • PURPOSE:To obviate a poisonous organic solvent and improve the environmental properties and workability by a method wherein urethane resin containing an isocyanate group which is made into a block and possessing a nonionic and/or ionic hydrophilic part is used as binder resin for joining among fibers. CONSTITUTION:The title cushioning body is comprised by containing an isocyanate group made into a block into fibers interwining in three dimensions, infiltrating a urethane resin aqueous liquid having nonionic and/or ionic hydrophilic part into those and performing heating and curing of those. The surface of the fibers is covered with urethane resin and fibers are united with each other with urethane resin at an intertwining part of the fibers. Cotton of various organic synthetic fibers can be used as the fibers intertwining in the three dimensions. The urethane resin is obtained by reaction of isocyanate compound obtained by blocking the isocyanate group with a blocking agent such as oximes, malonic acid esters and phenols with polyol obtained by adding and polymerizing a mixture of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide to glycerine. It is preferable that density of a urethane resin aqueous liquid and a heating temperature for curing are respectively 25-35wt.% and 115-150 deg.C.

    • PURPOSE:To integrate a foam without causing defoaming in the foam by dividing the inside of a mold into a plurality of foaming chambers by the partitioning plates and laying worsted felt over the adjacent foaming chambers and closing the gap between the mold and the partitioning plates and simultaneously foaming the foaming raw materials in the respective foaming chambers. CONSTITUTION:A mold is equipped with a bottom force 1 and a top force 2. A plurality of partitioning plates 3 are lengthened toward the top wold 2 in the bottom force 1. When the top force 2 is allowed to butt against the bottom force 1, the inside of the mold is divided into a plurality of foaming chambers 4a, 4b. The different foaming raw liquids are introduced into the respective foaming chambers 4a, 4b. In the partitioning plate 3 parts, worsted felt 5 is laid over the adjacent foaming chambers 4a and 4b, 4b and 4c to close the gap between the top force 2 and the partitioning plates 3. The adjacent foaming chambers are connected by this worsted felt 5. When the forming raw materials are simultaneously foamed, defoaming of the foam side wherein foaming pressure and strength of a cell are small is prevented. In the case of foaming, the foams molded in the respective foaming chambers 4a, 4b are joined by the worsted felt 5 and therefore the foams are excellently integrated.

    • PURPOSE:To lighten a cushioning material for a chair or the like by setting up a liquid binder before being hardened superficially on one face side of a fiber aggregate of specified thickness, spraying gas from the top of the binder, and dispersively impregnating the binder in the fiber aggregate and then hardening it. CONSTITUTION:A fiber aggregate 21 is held between a reticulating body 20 and another reticulating body 22 smaller in mesh than the former, and a binder 23 is applied on the reticulating body 22, feeding it into a device 10. Next, compressed air is fed to a device 11 from a supply source 13, having it vigorously sprayed toward the fiber aggregate 21 from a nozzle 12. This air jet passes through a baffle part 17 of a base from an opening 15 and is discharged out. At this time, the binder 23 is blown into the fiber aggregate 21, and it is dispersed and impregnated uniformly among fibers. Then, its hardening takes place. With this constitution, adhesive strength is securable with a minimum amount of binder and lightweightiness is promotable.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the number of processes to be reduced, contriving to obtain the cushions in which the foams with different hardnesses are laminated in one time foaming by reaction-curing each foaming stock solution, after the partition plates inserted in a mold have been rapidly drawn out and the openings of the mold have been closed. CONSTITUTION:Partition plates 2 are inserted into a mold. Different foaming stock liquids A, B are poured into the foaming chambers having been partitioned, and the inside of the mold is sealingly closed, covering 5 them from their upsides, and then, both foaming stock solutions are foamed simultaneously. Before this reaction is finished and said solutions are cured, the partition plate 2 is drawn out. This drawing out is rapidly carried out, whereby each foam to be foamed in the mold does not mix one another, and each stock solution is foamed with its characteristic, and further the characteristic of each foam is expressed as it is. After the partition plates 2 have been drawn out, a cramp 7 is fitted to the upper surface of the cover at the opening portion 6, and the opening portions 6 are closed, thereby preventing the flowing out of the foam and reaction-curing the foaming stock solution in the mold 1.
