摘要： A hollow impact absorbing body (1) for a vehicle manufactured by blow-moldin g thermoplastic resin and internally mounted on vehicle component members for preventing the impact absorptivity of the recessed ribs to be lowered by buckling and preventing resin accumulation from occurring in a blow molding process, comprising walls (3) and (4) opposed to each other, wherein the tip parts of the plurality of recessed ribs (5) and (6) formed by recessing the walls toward the other opposed walls are welded to each other, the height of the recessed ribs from the walls to welded surfaces (7) is set to 15 to 45 m m and the thickness of all the ribs is 30 to 90 mm, and connection ribs for connecting the adjacent recessed ribs to each other are provided to support the recessed ribs, whereby the accumulation of the resin can be prevented by providing swelled parts at parts of the weld surfaces.

摘要： The present invention relates to a blow moulded article with a smooth appearance and to the method of making the article. More particularly, the blow-moulding system of the present invention utilizes a thermal cycle to eliminate certain moulding defects and a non-mirrored mould cavity surface to eliminate other moulding defects. The thermal cycle sets the cavity temperature to a prescribed range to eliminate spot marks and line marks. The mould cavity surface has minute concavities/convexities and thereby produces an article with minute concavities/convexities such that when the article is painted, a smooth surface is produced without the need for sanding either the mould surface or the paint surface.

摘要： An interior finishing panel (1) for a vehicle, comprising a first wall (2) and a second wall (3) opposed to each other at an interval. The panel is formed in a hollow double wall structure having an inner rib (6) formed between the first wall (2) and the second wall (3). A skin sheet (7) with an averaged thickness of 2.0 mm or thinner is integrally laminated on the first wall (2). The skin sheet (7) is formed in a double layer structure in which a nonwoven cloth with a weight of 250 g/m2 or less is stuck on a resin sheet, and its tensile elastic modulus at room temperature is 3500 kg/cm2 or less. A parting line (9) and a step part (10) are formed on a peripheral wall (5) within the range of 35% of the averaged thickness of the panel from the first wall (2) side over roughly all the periphery thereof, and the end of the skin sheet (7) is melt-bonded to the peripheral wall along the step part (10). A three-dimensional pattern (8) is produced on the surface of the resin sheet forming the skin sheet (7).
