    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high strength hot dip galvanized steel sheet which uses a steel sheet containing Si and Mn as a base material and has excellent corrosion resistance and plating peeling resistance upon high working.
      SOLUTION: When a steel sheet containing, by mass, 0.01 to 0.18% C, 0.02 to 2.0% Si, 1.0 to 3.0% Mn, 0.001 to 1.0% Al, 0.005 to 0.060% P and ≤0.01% S, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is subjected to annealing and hot dip galvanizing treatment in continuous type hot dip galvanizing equipment, a heating process is performed in such a manner that the temperature rising rate in the temperature region of 600°C to A°C (A: 650≤A≤1,000) that is a temperature within an annealing furnace is controlled to ≥7°C/s, and also, a soaking process is performed in such a manner that the concentration of hydrogen in the temperature region of 800 to 1,000°C that is a temperature within an annealing furnace is controlled to ≥25 vol.%, and further, a cooling process is performed in such a manner that the concentration of hydrogen in the temperature region of ≥650°C is controlled to ≥25 vol.%.
