摘要： An access node of a 3GPP LTE-based wireless communication network comprises a transmitter portion that transmits downlink control information (DCI) to at least one wireless station of a plurality of wireless stations wirelessly accessing the node as a Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) wireless communication network. The DCI comprises at least one code word indicating a rank of a channel matrix between the transmitter portion of the node and the wireless station greater than 4 and a spatial-related configuration for the wireless station. In one exemplary embodiment, the transmitter portion transmits the DCI from one substantially localized geographical transmission point forming a single-cell access point for the plurality of wireless stations. In another exemplary embodiment, the transmitter portion transmits the DCI from multiple geographically substantially isolated transmission points forming a single-cell access point.

摘要： A method for association biasing at a mobile device in a heterogeneous network (HetNet) is disclosed. The method can include the mobile device receiving coordination set information from a macro node in the HetNet. The coordination set information can include at least one low power node (LPN) identifier of at least one LPN. The mobile device can receive a request from the macro node to apply a specified reference signal (RS) biasing. The mobile device can apply the specified RS biasing to an LPN RS measurement derived from a LPN RS received from an LPN having an LPN identifier in the received coordination set information. The mobile device can associate the mobile device with the LPN when the LPN RS measurement with the specified RS biasing exceeds an association threshold.

摘要： An adaptive interleaver for wideband orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) communications permutes a variable number of coded bits per OFDM symbol (Ncbps). The variable number of coded bits is calculated based on individual subcarrier modulation assignments for orthogonal subcarriers of a wideband channel. The interleaver matrix size may be based on the variable number of coded bits per OFDM symbol and the number of subchannels that comprise the wideband channel. The interleaver may add padding bits to the interleaver matrix to fill any remaining positions, and after performing an interleaving operation, the interleaver may prune the padding bits to provide a sequence of interleaved bits for subsequent modulation on the orthogonal subcarriers. A receiver may include an adaptive deinterleaver to reverse the process.
