A ball conveyor is constituted so that metal balls 10 are installed on a table 8 and the ball conveyor 9, and the noise suppressing effect in shift is provided by lining-treating the inside of the metal plate 11 on the contact surface with resin 12, and a number of small diameter holes 13 for suction are formed also on the body itself, and the dispersion and flying-away of the generated foreign materials are prevented. Accordingly, since the metal spheres are arranged vertically and the inside is lining-treated with resin, the effect for suppressing noise and permitting the light shift is provided. Further, since partitioning by an air curtain is performed and a number of holes for suction are formed on the conveyor body, the flying-away and dispersion of fine foreign materials can be prevented.

Subsequently, after the previous bit by one of the most significant bit is outputted from the shift register 2, the next input data is set in parallel, and the most significant bit outputted in the end is outputted from the latch circuit 1. By this setup, the space between the elements 32 can be made narrow, and the light emitting section 40 and the photodetective section 42 are directly connected with other, so that a small device, which is excellent in environmental resistance and reliability and capable of executing an ultra-high speed processing, can be obtained.

CONSTITUTION:An input signal Vi is separated into a positive side waveform current signal (+is) and a negative side waveform current signal (-is) by means of a positive and negative current separating circuit 1, the current signals (+is) and (-is) are supplied to gain variable circuits 2 and 3, respectively, and a gain is controlled in an equal rate according to a control signal VC. Both signals are synthesized by a signal synthesizing circuit 4, and an output signal Vo to be gain-controlled is obtained. Since the signal current Vi is separated into the positive side waveform current signal (+is) and negative side waveform current signal (-is), a circuit is made into a B class operating circuit, and a bias current is not superimposed on the signal current. Thus, since the generation of a current noise due to the bias current can be prevented, the high S/N can be obtained.
