摘要： An electrophoretic display device includes a first substrate and a second substrate that face each other, an electrophoretic element disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, the electrophoretic element including electrophoretic particles, a display unit that has a plurality of pixels including the electrophoretic element, a common electrode that is formed on an electrophoretic element side of the second substrate, and a first control line and a second control line that are formed in either the first substrate or the second substrate. Each of the plurality of pixels includes a pixel switching element, a memory circuit that is connected to the pixel switching element, a switching circuit that is connected to the memory circuit, and a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode that are connected to the switching circuit and are disposed to face the common electrode. The switching circuit includes a first switch that controls a conductive state between the first control line and the first pixel electrode in accordance with an output signal of the memory circuit and a second switch that controls a conductive state between the second control line and the second pixel electrode in accordance with the output signal of the memory circuit.

A lifting unit, when the pressure roller slides to a first position, temporarily lifts up the pressure roller, and when lifted-up pressure roller slides to a second position, lifts the lifted-up pressure roller down onto the folded side.

摘要： A sheet processing device includes a stapling tray, a rear-end clamp, and a stapler that staples sheets while the rear-end clamp is clamping the sheets. In response to a start signal, the stapler moves to a position where the stapler does not interfere the rear-end clamp while being closest to a stapling position. When the last sheet of a sheet bundle to be stapled is conveyed into the stapling tray, timing at which the stapler moves to the stapling position is determined according to a preset condition.

摘要： A sheet aligning device includes a sheet feeder that discharges a sheet in a first direction, a sheet tray on which the sheet is stacked, a sheet jogger that aligns the sheet on the sheet tray in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a sheet detection filler that detects a state of the sheet on the sheet tray. The sheet detection filler detects a position of a topmost sheet in the stack of sheets on the sheet tray and determines an alignment position from where the sheet jogger is to begin alignment of the sheets.
