    • Provided is a compact thermal type flowmeter that can perform a partial thermal treatment on a sensor element portion without affecting other elements and can improve the reliability of a sensor element while improving the sensitivity of the sensor element.A thermal type flowmeter includes a hollow portion which is formed in a semiconductor substrate, a thin film portion which is formed by insulating films provided to cover the hollow portion and, a heating resistor body and a temperature-measuring resistor body which are formed between the insulating films. In a method for manufacturing the thermal type flowmeter, a thermal treatment is performed to grow a crystal grain size of the heating resistor body and a crystal grain size of the temperature-measuring resistor body by heating the thin film portion after forming the thin film portion.

    • An image forming apparatus includes: a plurality of photoconductor drums; a plurality of exposure members; a drum supporting member having a pair of side walls disposed opposite to each other in an axial direction of the photoconductor drum and configured to support the photoconductor drums and the exposure members between the side walls; a belt disposed below and opposite to the photoconductor drums; a pair of guide members configured to support the drum supporting member while allowing rectilinear movement of the drum supporting member; a separation mechanism configured to support the guide members together with the drum supporting member such that the photoconductor drums are movable in an upward-and-downward direction; and a main body circuit board provided in the main body and connected to the exposure members via a flat cable. The flat cable is partly supported at its retained portion by at least one of the guide members.

    • An image forming apparatus is provided that includes urging members provided at first and second ends in an axial direction of at least one of rollers around which an endless belt is wound, so as to urge the at least one roller and apply a tension to the endless belt. The urging members include a first urging member for applying a first moment about a middle point of a contact portion of a predetermined one roller in the axial direction and a second urging member for applying a second moment about the middle point. The second moment is different from the first moment such that a first-side portion, where a guide is provided to fit into a groove formed on at least one roller, of the endless belt with respect to the middle point is extended by a same length as a second-side portion of the endless belt.
