    • PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of a compd. in the stage of joining Al and a dissimilar metal and to obtain a joined part having excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, by applying Al plating on the joining surface of a material to be joined which is vulnerable to formation of a compd. with Al and melting the same by heating. CONSTITUTION:An Al material 1 and a plating layer 3 of Al and Al and Fe applied on an Fe material 2 are butted, and are welded by matching the position of a beam to the boundary of the material 1 and the layer 3. The weld zone 5 after the welding contains much Al group with extremely less molten Fe, where extremely small amount of a brittle intermetallic compd. is grown. Therefore, the joined part has extremely high mechanical strength. Since the weld layer contg. substantially Al and Fe and the plating layer contg. Al and Fe are formed at the intermediate of the material 1 and 2, the corrosion resistance is improved considerably.
