    • PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in properties of a resin or deformation thereof by radiation of a recording beam by providing a thin film essentially consisting of specific metal elements having a small thermal conductivity on a thin film for recording. CONSTITUTION:A protective layer 4 is laminated on the thin film 3 for information recording which is formed via a lower protective layer 2 on a substrate 1 having guide grooves and generates a change of atomic configuration with substantially no deformation when subjected to irradiation of the beam for recording. The layer essentially consisting of at least one selected from a group consisting of Al, Ti, V, Cr, Fe, Ni, Bi, etc., is laminated as a thin film 5 and thereafter, the thin film 5 side of the substrate 1 and a protective plate 7 are stuck to each other by using a resin 6 which is cured by radiation of UV rays. The thin film 5 consists essentially of the metal elements having the small thermal conductivity and diffuses the heat generated by the radiation of the beam for recording. The deterioration in the properties of the resin 6 or the deformation thereof generated by the radiation of the beam for recording thereto is thereby prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the titled medium which decreases noise at the time of recording and reproducing and decreases the incomplete erasing at the time of rewriting of information by forming a recording film directly or via other layer onto a highly heat resistant substrate which is directly formed with guides for tracking and has >=200 deg.C glass transition point at 5 deg.C heating up rate per minute. CONSTITUTION:The highly heat resistant material which is directly formed with the guides for tracking and has >=200 deg.C glass transition point at 5 deg.C heating up rate per minute is used as the substrate 1 to be used for the information recording medium which utilizes the change of atomic configuration by projection of an energy beam. The recording film 2 may be directly formed on the substrate 1 and may be formed via the highly heat resistant org. material layer having >=200 deg.C glass transition point in the case of forming the recording film on this substrate 1. The deformation of the substrate 1 at the time of recording and erasing the information by the projection of the energy beam is thereby obviated and, therefore, the increase in the noises at the time of the recording and erasing of the information is obviated. The incomplete erasing at the time of the information rewriting is extremely little.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the difficulty in optimizing optical characteristics while maintaining optimum recording characteristics because there is heretofore a need for equally dividing signals with layers existing in a plurality. SOLUTION: A multilayered disk having (n) layers of recording layers is so designed as to satisfied an equation (4) when the transmittance Ti ((i) is an integer from 1 to n-1) of the first layer when viewed from a light incident side is condensed to the recording layer of the j-th layer ((j) is an integer of (2) to (n)) in order to improving the reproducing and/or recording characteristics in the respective layers. As a result, the recording and reproducing characteristics of the multilayered medium of the optical disk, more particularly the multilayered medium of a rewriting type can be improved.
