CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a transition metal compound comprises: a step of reacting alkyl lithium with amine-based compound of chemical formula 1; a step of adding a compound containing a protecting group to obtain a compound of chemical formula 2; a step of reacting alkyl lithium with the compound of chemical formula 2; a step of adding ketone-based comound of chemical formula 3 and lithium chloride to obtain a amine based compound of chemical formula 4; a step of reacting n-butyl lithium with \the compound of chemical formula 4 to obtain dilithium compound of chemical formula 5; a step of reacting organic lithium compound with the compound of chemical formula 5 to obtain the transition metal compound of chemical formula 6.

    • A novel ligand compound, a method for preparing the ligand compound, a transition metal compound, a method for preparing the transition metal compound, and a catalyst composition containing the transition metal compound useful as a polymerization catalyst are provided to allow a bridge to be introduced to the nitrogen atom of a ligand compound, thereby a catalyst compound to be prepared simply. A ligand compound represented by the formula 1 is prepared by injecting 1 eq. of an alkyl lithium or an aryl lithium and CO2 gas to phenylamine or phenyl phosphine compound to prepare a lithium carbamate compound represented by the formula 3; and adding an alkyl lithium or an aryl lithium and a compound connected with a bridge E represented by the formula 4 to the lithium carbamate compound, wherein E is a covalent bridging group connecting Cp1 and Cp2 and an epoxy group, an ethylthio group, a carbonyl group, a silane group, a disilane group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C60 hydrocarbylene group, or a C1-C60 heterohydrocarbylene group containing an element of the group 4B, 5B or 6B.

    • A transition metal oxide is very stable at a high temperature and facilitates the access of a comonomer having high steric hindrance by forming five angle-ring structure. A method for preparing olefin polymer uses a transition metal compound of the chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, R1 is identical or different and represents C1-20 alkyl, C2-20 alkenyl, aryl, silyl, alkylaryl, arylalkyl or a metalloide radical of hydrocarbyl-substituted 4 group metal, wherein two R1s can form a ring by being connected through using an alkylidene radical containing C1-20 alkyl or C6-20 arlyl radical; R is identical or different and represents hydrogen, halogen, C1-20 alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy and amido radical, wherein at least two of R2 can form an alicyclic or aromatic ring by being connected; CY1 is hydrogen, halogen and C1-20 alkyl, or an aryl radical-substituted or unsubstituted nitrogen-containing an aromatic or aliphatic ring; M is 4 group transition metal; and Q1 and Q2 are independently halogen, C1-20 alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, alkylaryl, arylalkyl, C1-20 alkyl amido, arylamido and C1-20 alkylidene radical.

    • New fourth group transition metal compounds having cyclopentadienyl ligand are provided to catalyze preparation of olefin polymer, improve copolymerization reactivity for olefin monomer with copolymer having high steric hindrance, enhance copolymerization activity and degree at high temperature of above 150°C, and prepare polymer with low density and high molecular weight at high temperature. The new fourth group transition metal compounds represented by the formula(1) are useful as catalyst in preparation of olefin polymer, wherein R1 to R4 are each independently hydrogen atom, C1-C20 alkyl radical, C2-C20 alkenyl radical, silyl radical, alkylaryl radical or arylalkyl radical; R5 to R7 are each independently hydrogen atom, halogen radical, C1-C20 alkyl radical, aryl radical, alkoxy radical, aryloxy radical, alkylamino radical or arylamino radical; R8 is hydrogen atom, C1-C20 alkyl radical, aryl radical, alkylaryl radical or arylalkyl radical; CY1 is optionally substituted aliphatic or aromatic ring; Y is 15th or 16th group atom; M is fourth group transition metal; and X1 to X3 are each independently halogen radical, C1-C20 alkyl radical, alkenyl radical, aryl radical, alkylaryl radical, arylalkyl radical, alkylamino radical, arylamino radical or C1-C20 alkylidene radical.
