    • A punch guide sleeve and stripper plate assembly useable with a punch set of the type having a punch disposed within the guide sleeve (16) and adapted to be reciprocally advanced through an opening of the stripper plate (12) attached to one end of the guide sleeve (16) by the ram of a punch press. The stripper plate assembly includes a rotatable stripper plate cap (20) which may be manually rotated with respect to the guide sleeve (16) from a locked to an unlocked position to secure and release the stripper plate (12) through tightening and loosening a retaining wire (18) onto and away from the stripper plate (12). The retaining wire has two ends (19, 21) that are attached to the stripper plate cap and the guide sleeve. When these two ends are drawn together in the locked position, the arcuate wire (18) engages with the stripper plate (12).

    • A punch tool assembly includes an adjustment subassembly coupled to a canister sidewall of the assembly. The adjustment subassembly includes a punch head, which engages a punch holder, or body, of the punch tool, at a threaded interface, so that rotation of the punch head moves the punch body/holder along a central longitudinal axis of the punch tool assembly. The adjustment subassembly further includes a locking member, which is biased with respect to the punch head, in a first position, where the locking member is engaged with a locking feature of an engagement sidewall of the subassembly, to lock the punch head and prevent rotation thereof. The locking member may be released, to unlock the punch head, by applying a force to an externally accessible actuation interface of a release member of the subassembly, for example, to rotate the actuation interface about the central longitudinal axis.

    • Press brake tool holders suitable for releasing and securing press brake tools in response to applied fluid pressure. One press brake tool holder includes a horizontally elongated body having a cam shaft bore (70) disposed longitudinally therethrough, and receiving a slidably and sealingly mounted cam shaft (72) therein. The cam shaft can have at least one axial camming surface, having a large outer diameter region axially tapered to a small outer diameter region, and in contact with a cam follower pin slidably disposed in a cam follower pin bore transversely disposed through the body. The cam follower pin can bear against a pivotally mounted clamp disposed about the body. In response to applied fluid pressure, the camming surface can slide axially, thereby increasing the effective outer diameter as seen by the cam follower pin, thereby urging the cam follower pin outward and against the upper portion of the pivotally mounted clamp, and closing the lower clamp portion about a press brake tool. One press brake tool has a pair of opposed cam shaft segments with the pressure-bearing faces disposed near each other in the center. Another press brake tool holder has a single cam shaft with multiple camming surfaces disposed over the length.
