    • The present invention provides techniques for performing molecular dynamics simulation on a multiprocessor system. The method comprises: dividing a substance space on which molecular dynamics simulation are to be performed into a plurality of cells; storing data of molecules of the plurality of cells in the main memory of the multiprocessor system such that data of molecules of each cell are continuously stored in a memory area corresponding to the cell; and the plurality of accelerators repeatedly acquiring the data of molecules of the plurality of cells from the main memory and performing molecular dynamics simulation computations in parallel such that data of molecules of at least one cell are acquired in one DMA operation. By continuously storing data of molecules of each cell in a memory area corresponding to the cell, the present invention reduces the data exchanges between each accelerator and the main memory during simulation.

    • An exemplary refractive-index sensor includes a photonic crystal microcavity structure, a light source, and a detector. The photonic crystal microcavity structure includes a photonic crystal layer having first holes and a second hole defined therein. The first holes are arranged in a regular pattern of staggered parallel rows. The second hole is at an approximate center of the regular pattern, instead of a first hole. A diameter of the second hole is different from that of the first holes. The first holes at each of opposite ends of the row having the second hole are omitted, thereby defining an input waveguide and an output waveguide. The light source is adjacent to the input waveguide. The detector is adjacent to the output waveguide.

    • A memory card with identifier is provided. The memory card comprises a microcontroller and a flash memory. The microcontroller is connected to a flash memory transmission interface and a memory card transmission interface, wherein the memory card transmission interface is further connected to a host end. The flash memory is connected to the flash memory transmission interface. The microcontroller comprises a smartcard engine for matching a key of the host end with a key stored in the flash memory, wherein when the keys of the host end and the flash memory matches, the smartcard engine processes encrypting/decrypting of data to the flash memory, and wherein when the keys of the host end and the flash memory mismatches, the memory card rejects the host end from processing retrieval/storage of data to the flash memory.
