    • An indication system is provided and includes evaluation, messaging, and display modules and a display. The evaluation module generates a message based on a parameter of a compressor or a drive. The messaging module: generates a message based on the parameter; generates a string of glyphs based on the message; selects a predetermined number of glyphs in the string of glyphs; generates column data for the selected glyphs; and generates packets including the column data. The display module generates output signals based on the packets. The display includes an array of LEDs, does not include a transistor, and illuminates the LEDs based on the output signals. The display module is configured to generate the output signals to illuminate one or more of the LEDS in a column-by-column format, such that power is only provided to one column of the array of LEDs at any moment in time.

    • A multi-flow valve has an inlet/outlet plate (208) with at least two inlet openings (210, 212) and two outlet openings (214, 216). A fluid flow selector (206) has a fluid passage (228) therein. The fluid flow selector is rotatable with respect to the inlet/outlet plate among a closed position a first open position and a second open position. When in the first open position the fluid flow passage fluidly couples the first inlet to the first outlet and when in the second open position the fluid passage fluidly couples the second inlet to the second outlet. A storage tank (105) receives a slurry of food waste and water from the disposer for storage until the slurry is collected for transportation to a processing facility. The storage tank has a gas valve (906) connected to a tank (902) of blanketing gas. A controller (124, 126) is connected to the disposer and is in communication with a pressure sensor (310b) that monitors a pressure of a headspace (901) above the slurry in the storage tank. A remote monitor (330) in communication with the controller, compares pressure data with a predetermined pressure threshold or a predetermined threshold range, and performs, based on the comparison, at least one of adjusting the gas valve and generating a pressure adjustment recommendation indicating that the pressure of the headspace should be increased or decreased.

A storage tank (105) receives a slurry of food waste and water from the disposer for storage until the slurry is collected for transportation to a processing facility. A monitor (330) is in communication with a controller (124) connected to the disposer, receives pH data from the controller, compares the pH data with at least one of a pH range and a pH threshold and generates a pH adjustment recommendation including at least one of a type and an amount of an additive for introduction to the storage tank to adjust the pH of the slurry based on the comparison. A terminal (332) associated with the facility and connected to the remote monitor receives the pH adjustment recommendation.
