    • A combination of several analytical computer-assisted modeling techniques may be used to evaluate the performance data of an entity, its relative performance within a classification of the entity and to identify opportunities to improve performance of the entity. Subtleties in entity performance can be determined by use of regression analysis on the applied modeling techniques to link the results of the same together. The present invention can be applied to evaluate the value of a brand, the relative value of competitive brands and can be used to identify the opportunities to increase brand value and the priority of those opportunities. Image/Attitudinal driver analysis, pyramid analysis, probability analysis, trade-off analysis, and other regression techniques may be used in novel combinations to quantify brand development, impacts and the overall estimate of brand value. For example: (1) image driver analysis may be applied to each level of a brand pyramid to understand how to most effectively move customers through to the next level in the pyramid; (2) probability analysis may be used to estimate the impact of each movement through the pyramid; and (3) tradeoff analysis may be used to improve the value customers perceive at any particular level of the pyramid.

The checkpoint is configured as needed to fit within the transport. The MSU may further separate certain individuals into a secure, enclosed wanding station (453) for additional security screening. The wanding station (453) may be constructed using glass (or other strong, visually transparent substance) and metallic (such as aluminum or steel) posts so that people may be securely enclosed in the wanding station (453) but still have a direct line of sight to personal items being screened at another location. The MSU is configured so that most people pass straight through the checkpoint (100), and people leaving the wanding station (453) can easily obtain their items without delaying others.

    • The present invention provides a system and process for creating an effective work schedule for a security checkpoint. The, process includes the step of analyzing passenger flow to determine the coverage needed to sustain required service levels. The coverage is generally determined through simulating the security checkpoint to determine required staffing levels. Another step to optimize workforce levels and schedules is to create workforce schedules that are based on optimized person-hours and key variables. The schedule staffs as needed to achieve the required staffing levels. The schedule may consider numerous other factors, such as acceptable ranges for minimum and maximum shift lengths; a maximum number of start times; and a percentage of part-time or seasonal employees. Saving from the present invention may then be determined by comparing baseline worker-hours to optimized worker-hours. In a particular embodiment, the schedule is formed using by using linear programming to solve for a tour assignment matrix (defining a schedule) from a demand matrix representing the needed number of workers and a coefficient matrix representing the availability of workers.
