摘要： Abstract A clutch assembly is disclosed for providing selective engagement with a rotatable shaft, in particular for selecting between manual and powered driving of an output drive such as a door, shutter or gate. The clutch assembly comprises a stop arranged to rotate with the shaft, a cam 5 arranged to move relative to the shaft, and a follower arranged to rotate around the shaft and axially movable along the shaft in and out of engagement with the stop. The follower is operatively associated with the cam so that movement of the follower relative to the cam brings the follower into engagement with the stop by axial movement, so causing rotation of the shaft. In particular, the invention relates to a safety assembly for preventing engagement between a I0 driven shaft and a moveable clutch element when the shaft is rotating, the clutch element configured for axial movement along the driven shaft, the assembly comprising a blocking means to block movement of the clutch element when the shaft is rotating, the blocking means comprising one or more elements arranged with the driven shaft so to be moveable outwardly therefrom for blocking movement of the clutch element.
