摘要： An anti-lock system, device and method for logging a wellbore (106) are presented. The anti-lock system of a downhole tool (104) preferably includes a first arm (200), a second arm (202), a pad (108), a swivel bearing between the first arm and the pad, and an anti-locking device. The first arm has an arm first end connected to the tool body (220) of the downhole tool and an arm second end connected to a first end of the pad. The second arm has an arm first end connected to the tool body of the downhole tool and an arm second end connected to a second end of the pad. The swivel bearing between the first arm and the pad pivotally connects the first arm to the pad. The anti-locking device is coupled to the swivel bearing, and preferably includes an anti-lock biasing (118) member for maintaining a connection between the first arm and the pad at the swivel bearing in an engaged position during normal logging and for allowing the connection to rotate toward a biased position when a binding force is encountered in the arm system.

An example indicative coupler assembly includes a first inductive coupler having first and second magnetically coupled coils and a second inductive coupler having third and fourth magnetically coupled coils. 摘要： A flow meter apparatus and method are presented for measuring a flow rate of a multiphase fluid mixture comprising at least one gas phase and one liquid phase. The flow meter comprises a pipe section and measurement section through which the mixture flows. The flow meter also comprises a fraction measurement device adapted to estimate a representative fraction of the gas phase and/or liquid phase of the mixture passing at the measurement section. Moreover, the flow meter preferably comprises at least one ultrasonic sensor arranged to estimate a characteristic, such as liquid film thickness or velocity, of a portion of the liquid phase flowing as liquid film along a wall of the pipe section. The characteristic is preferably used to correct the estimated representative fraction of the gas phase and/or liquid phase when the gas phase flows in a core of the pipe section, and a portion of the liquid phase flows partially as liquid film along the wall of the pipe section and another portion of the liquid phase flows partially as liquid droplets in the core of the pipe section.

摘要： A fluid sensor and method for determining at least one parameter of a fluid of a wellbore is provided. The fluid sensor has a base positionable on a downhole tool and a pair of electrodes. The base is provided with insulation. The pair of electrodes is operatively positioned in the insulation. The pair of electrodes has a space therebetween for passage of the wellbore fluid therethrough. A first of the pair of electrodes is interlaced with a second of the pair of electrodes such that at least a portion of the second of the pair of electrodes is surrounded by the first of the pair of electrodes. A voltage applied across the pair of electrodes generates a current therebetween whereby at least one parameter of the wellbore fluid may be determined. The fluid sensor is deployable into the wellbore via the downhole tool.

The fluid sensor has a base positionable in the wellbore, a base electrode operatively positionable in the insulation, and a raised electrode having at least one base portion and at least one raised portion. The at least one raised portion is positionable a distance above the base electrode such that a space is defined therebetween for the passage of the wellbore fluid therethrough. A voltage is applied across the base electrode and the raised electrode to generate a current therebetween whereby at least one parameter of the wellbore fluid may be determined. The fluid sensor is deployable into the wellbore via the downhole tool.
