    • A wind turbine for wind power generation accommodated a heat-generating device therein is always properly cooled by accurately detecting clogging of a filter. A wind turbine accommodates a heat-generating device and includes a column disposed in an upright position on a foundation, a nacelle disposed on a top end of the column, and a rotor head supported by the nacelle so as to be rotatable about a substantially horizontal axis, and the wind turbine includes an intake which is provided in an outer surface of the wind turbine and through which outside air is taken into the wind turbine to cool the heat-generating device; an exhaust which is provided in the outer surface of the wind turbine and through which air inside the wind turbine is discharged outside the wind turbine; an impurity-removing mechanism disposed in a flow path of air from the intake to the exhaust to remove impurities contained in the outside air; and a control unit for determining the condition of the impurity-removing mechanism by comparing, as a parameter serving as a criterion for determining the condition of the impurity-removing mechanism, latest data obtained while a wind speed outside the wind turbine is substantially stable with reference value data input in advance and serving as a reference.

Provided is a wind turbine monitoring device including a first storage unit in which a diagnostic data file is stored; a second storage unit in which a normal data file is stored; a diagnostics setting unit that that extracts and sets a plurality of datasets to be used in diagnosis from the first storage unit and that extracts and sets a plurality of datasets to be used in diagnosis from the second storage unit; an index-value calculating unit that calculates status index values representing the status of the wind turbine using a statistical calculation method, on the basis of the set datasets in the diagnostic data file and the datasets in the reference data file; a fault determining unit that evaluates the status of the wind turbine on the basis of the status index values; and a notification unit that notifies the result of this evaluation.

    • A wind-power-station control apparatus is provided in a wind power station having a plurality of wind turbine generators. To reduce the electrical power supplied from the wind power station to the utility grid, the wind-power-station control apparatus performs, for a wind turbine generator whose actual output electrical power is small relative to the maximum electrical power that can be output, among the plurality of wind turbine generators, output-power reduction control for reducing the output power thereof and increasing the rotational speed of the rotor thereof. Thus, even when control for reducing the output power is performed for the wind turbine generator, it is possible to suppress waste of the wind energy received by the blades and to increase the total annual amount of generated electrical power.

    • A flange of a first pipe and a flange of a second pipe are connected via the flanges. An annular seal groove is formed in the flange surface of the flange. A sealing liquid is poured and placed in the seal groove from a sealing liquid pouring section via a pouring passage. The sealing liquid placed in the seal groove forms a liquid seal structure to improve sealing ability. Further, the sealing liquid is placed also in a discharge passage and a discharge pipe. When gas in the pipes enters the seal groove, the gas can be discharged from a discharge device and detected by a gas sensor to enable the user to take safety measures.
