    • The present invention describes various embodiments of a drawstring bag. The drawstring bag is generally constructed from a first panel and a second panel continuously joined along a first side edge, a bottom, and a second side edge with the top of the panels generally defining the open top of the bag. The bags feature drawstrings extending along the open top of the bag. The drawstrings may exhibit elastic-like properties or be manufactured of elastic materials. First and second short seals anchor the ends of the drawstrings to the sides of the bag.In certain embodiments, the present invention will have one or more reduced opening seals proximate to the short seals. The reduced opening seals are generally opposite the side edges of the bag with respect to the short seals. The reduced opening seals may be substantially oval in shape. Furthermore, the reduced opening seals may be vertically oriented with the sides of the bag or oriented at an angle to the sides. In certain preferred embodiments, the reduced opening seals will be oriented at an angle of between 10 and 45 degrees to the sides, with 15 degrees from vertical being preferred, and the reduced opening seals can be oriented outward or inward.

    • An apparatus and method for cooling a molten plastic film tube exiting the outlet of an extrusion die is disclosed. The apparatus includes an inlet passage adapted to direct cooling air through the extrusion die to the interior of the plastic film tube. The apparatus includes at least one air dispensing device coupled to the inlet passage. The air dispensing device is configured to receive the cooling air and to direct a flow of the cooling air out of the air dispensing device in an approximately circumferential or tangential direction. The circumferential or tangential flow of the inlet air inside the plastic film tube cools the molten tube while reducing impact on the molten tube.

    • A method and system for improved plastic compactor bags is provided by the present invention. In particular, the present invention discloses a method of using plastic compactor bags having flaps for use with a compactor, such that the plastic flapped bag with two or more flaps is placed into the container of a compactor having a front panel in close proximity to the container. The flaps of the plastic compactor bag are provided such that a person installing the bag can pull the plastic bag over an upper edge of the container to facilitate securing the plastic flapped compactor bag onto the container of the compactor. Furthermore, the present invention discloses a system of a plastic flapped compactor bag placed within a container of a compactor. Finally, the present invention discloses a method of removal of a plastic flapped compactor bag from a container of a compactor.
