    • PURPOSE:To accelerate the swirling speed of suction gas to be fed into an aux. combustion chamber under the compression stroke by providing the oversurface of a piston with a boss which is to squeeze the open area of a pipeline in the neighborhood of the upper dead point, wherein the pipeline couples the aux. combustion chamber with the cylinder inside. CONSTITUTION:A two-cycle Diesel engine with aux. combustion chamber, in which suction gas in the form of circumferential swirling stream is sucked into a cylinder 1 from a suction port 13 opening near the lower dead point, is equipped with a pipeline to couple the aux. combustion chamber 2 with the cylinder 1 inside and an exhaust port to discharge the gas by an exhaust valve 24 installed at the aux. combustion chamber 2. A boss 31 to squeeze the pipeline near the upper dead point is furnished on the oversurface of piston 3. Thereby the swirling speed of suction gas to be fed into the aux. combustion chamber 2 is accelerated under the compression stroke, while under the scavenging stroke the fluid resistance from inside the cylinder 1 to the aux. combustion chamber 2 side is lessened. This enhances the engine efficiency and decreases the rate of fuel consumption, and also high-speed operation becomes practicable because scavenge is made quickly.

    • PURPOSE:To restrain torque fluctuation caused by engine explosion, by making an alternator generate power in increasing torque generated in a crank-shaft to generate reverse torque in the crank-shaft. CONSTITUTION:A timing detecting means 3 is constituted from a crank angle sensor 7 for generating detecting signals when pistons in respective cylinders are in the upper dead point positions and a wave shaping circuit 8 so that torque increasing time in rotational torque fluctuation can be detected. The output of the detecting means 3 is supplied to the input of a single multiplexer 9 of a field current control to provide signals having pulse width corresponding to time in which field current is applied, and these signals are applied to a field coil 1a of an alternator 1 through a drive circuit 10. Namely, in the increase of torque, current is supplied to the field coil 1a to cause the alternator 1 to generate electricity so that reverse torque is generated in a crank-shaft to restrain the fluctuation of rotational torque.
