    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water softening system with no risk of unavailability of hot or cold water due to freezing. SOLUTION: The water softening system is provided with: a water softening tank 11 having a tank water inlet port 13 and a tank discharge port 14 and incorporating ion exchange resin; a water inlet port 15 connectable to an external water source; a water outlet port 16; a water flow detection means 19 detecting presence or absence of a water flow; and a discharge port 17 and one or more valves. In the system, an ordinary water feed circuit communicated from the water inlet port 15 with the tank water inlet port 13 according to the open/close state of the valves and extending to the water outlet port 16 from the tank discharge port 14; a bypass water feed circuit extending to the water outlet port 16 from the water inlet port 15 without passing through the water softening tank 11; and a backwashing circuit communicated with the tank discharge port 14 from the water inlet port 15 and extending to the discharge port 17 from the tank water inlet port 13, are switchable. When the open/close state of the valves is set to compose the backwashing circuit and when the water flow detection means 19 does not detect a given water flow rate, the open/close state of the valves is switched from the state of composing the backwashing circuit to the state of composing the bypass water feed circuit.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifreezing member fitted to the end of the discharge port of a water faucet device which requires a straightening net capable of discharging water from another water flow passage in which a straightening net is not installed even if the water film-like water remaining on the straightening net is frozen.
      SOLUTION: This antifreezing member comprises an inflow port positioned at the top end, a screwing part formed on the side surface of the inflow port, the straightening net positioned under the inflow port and a support part for so fixing the straightening net that the net does not fall, an outflow port positioned at the bottom end and formed on the downstream side of the straightening net, a hole formed in the side surface between the screwing part and the support part and communicating with the inflow port, a downward gap positioned on the outer peripheries of the support part and the outflow port and communicating with the hole, and an auxiliary outflow port positioned under the gap on the downstream side and communicating with the hole through the gap.

SOLUTION: Heat-insulating materials 29, by which water is difficult to be frozen, are introduced at upper and lower two places in a fancy box 18 even at the time water draining being forgotten, and one clip for an electric thawer is held to a discharge outlet and another clip to the metallic section of an operating section body 6 by opening an open-close cover 26 and electricity is conducted at the time of the forgetfulness of dropping and the freezing of the inside of a riser 11. Consequently, a current is made to flow through a discharge-outlet joint 19, a water discharge port body 14, the riser 11, a mounting elbow 12, a mounting nut 13, a valve box 1, a jacketed pipe 5 and the operating section body 6, and heat begins to be generated. Thawing from the riser 11 to the discharge outlet progresses after a fixed time, and water can be passed. Even when valve box 1 itself is frozen or water rising in the jacketed pipe 5 is frozen, thawing is carried out similarly.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to operate a heat generation unit definitely and melt ice easily by constituting an area which supports a shaft interposed between an outer cylinder of a thawing type riser pipe and an inner erection shaft with a conductive raw material and energizing when the water in the riser pipe is frozen. SOLUTION: This heat generation operation device of an antifreeze faucet, which is different from a heat generation operation device of one antifreeze faucet is laid out so that different antifreeze faucets may be independently operated unconnected to each other. In this case, the heat generation portions prepared with a conductive material including the thawing riser type is laid out so that a flow inlet of the outer cylinder 1 of the thawing riser pipe which is connected to a flow outlet 6 of the antifreeze faucet. Furthermore, as for the antifreeze faucet, a structural part which supports the erection shaft 2 inside the thawing riser pipe erected differently and a required area of the outer cylindrical structural portion are prepared with a conductive raw material. A space between the outer cylinder 1 of the thawing riser pipe 1 and the erection shaft 2 inside the outer cylinder is electrically connected with an operation circuit of a remote operation system of the heat generation operation device of the antifreeze faucet. Then, the area functions as a heating generation unit when power is supplied.
