摘要： An adjustable control pedal apparatus including brake and accelerator pedals adapted for connection with the brake and throttle mechanisms of an automotive vehicle further includes a pivoted brake pedal carrier member suitably swingably mounted on support structure of the vehicle and an accelerator pedal carrier fixedly mounted on such support, each of the carriers having mounted for rotation thereon an Acme screw. One such screw carries an integrally formed nut end portion of the brake pedal member while the other rotatably mounts an elongated nut member pivotally carrying on a distal end thereof the accelerator pedal member. A tandem cable drive connects the two screws for simultaneous adjusting rotation under operation of a reversible electric motor connected with only one of the screws.

摘要： The brake adjustment device positions the brake pedal according to user customization. A base secures to the braking system of the vehicle. An adjustable arm provides two ends, a first end that attaches to the base and a second end that attaches to the brake pedal. The attachment of the base and the adjustable arm adjusts to vary the distance between the attachment end of the base and the attachment end of the adjustable arm. Increasing the distance between the attachment end of the base and the attachment end of the adjustable arm raises the brake pedal. Decreasing the distance between the attachment end of the base and the attachment end of the adjustable arm lowers the brake pedal.

Adjusting the adjustment distance may cause an idle position of the pedal to move relative to base and maintains relative positions of the second and third reference locations when the pedal is in the idle position.

The assembly includes an activation link connected via a pivot member to an elongated lever structure of the pedal arm, a link member for connection to the push rod to activate the brake system that is operatively connected to the activation link, and an adjustable slide pin for moving a pivot axis of the elongated lever structure between a first pivot position and a second pivot position. The pedal arm and pedal plate are thus moved between a first position and a second position, while maintaining a substantially constant ratio between each of the positions.

The reaction force application mechanism includes a drive source for generating the reaction force, and a transmission member for transmitting the reaction force generated by the drive source to the pedal-side arm. The reaction force application mechanism is arranged higher than the housing. The pedal-side arm has an extension part that is extended on the opposite side from the pad across the support shaft, and from the pedal-side arm to the transmission member.
